"In the 1990s, there were reports that Iraqi intelligence recruited U.N. inspectors as informants..."
"During the UNSCOM period, one inspector was reportedly filmed in a compromising situation and blackmailed. "
The 180 performed by Mr. Ritter is starting to make sense.

Here's my take on the "Ritter flip-flop":
Hussein et al took a lesson from the Klintons: plain old blackmail.
Iraqi Intelligence made sure Ritter had access to plenty of underage girls while he was in Iraq -- and videotaped their get-together(s). Then they showed Ritter the tape -- and threatened to sell it to some former-Soviet country kid-porn website.
Almost as effective a behavior-modifier as having his FBI file in the palace...

"
Ritter said this would be the last time he plans to discuss the situation with the media."
If so then that was the last time he will ever speak to the media.
"He said he has been encouraged by hundreds of positive e-mails from around the country."

"Ritter and Marina, who married 12 years ago after they met in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, are parents of two young children."

Though the case was sealed, he said, his detectives were not barred from talking about it, according to two lawyers he consulted. Furthermore, the case had been reported on Channel 13 in 2001 and many people were already familiar with it.Then I guess we don't have to blame a "pro-Bush" judge for the "leak" as some people wanted to do.

Ritter and Marina, who married 12 years ago after they met in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, are parents of two young children.I have noticed in the last few articles they say two young children and not twin daughters like he has.
Keep your eyes open Marina. People like Scott don't usually just stick to strange young girls.

Ritter Says He Won't Be SilencedNo doubt. We'll look for you in teen chatrooms everywhere Scotty.

Ritter, Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan, the Krauts, the Frogs, and the Democrats are all just masturbating (figuratively speaking). We're going in, and we're going in soon. Bank on it.

If you are not mad yet, after reading this sentence gets my blood boiling.
Ritter said it was difficult explaining to his kids about what happened, but expects to soon put this behind him.
It was difficult explaining to his kids. What about the people's children that he has wooed on the internet or could have wooed. I guess he thinks that they are not as important as his. This sorry SOB needs to be locked up. And his sorry arse wife that is so proud of him better watch her children.
And as far as I am concerned any more air time on tv should only be for his confession of being on a chatroom trying to lure teenage girls and or perhaps boys, and should be taped in advance. Other than that Scott can go and get himself on Iraqi tv.

"Ritter won't be silenced"!Just invite him on a talk show then out of the blue, march a naked 14 year old girl in front of him.
To: Shermy
...the timing is definitely suspicious," he said. "I have no insights as to who or why....Ha!
There must have been some chuckles and high-fiving at the WH, when Ritter's been on TV, and they've known they could lower the boom on him any time they wanted. I wonder if someone at the Schenectady Gazette (or whichever it was) is in trouble? Surely this was supposed to be big news on Peace Activist Weekend, not three days later.

"Ritter Says He Won't Be Silenced"
yes scotty boy, but they have all stopped listening and quoting you like you were the bible.
As a side note, now that his "blackmailable" secret has been brought out in the open... HOW USEFUL will he BE to his master and undercover iraqi agents? An agent that can no longer be blackmailed?
Not very, is my guess...
To: Shermy
He may not be silenced but he won't be heard. His credibility is GONE and no one will listen to his obviously lying rants!

Of course this pawn won't be silenced, but there is not a thing he can do about being ignored.

"I'm very supportive of Scott, 100 percent or more," said his wife, Marina. "I'm very proud of him and everything that he has achieved." She is rumored to be KGB.
Maybe Ritter and Michael Jackson will open a consulting business together.
