Fantastic! NR is one step from WSJ is one step from the Associated Press.

Two more steps and the anti-war leadership will be outed as pro-genocidal-totalitarian-communists.

Keep up the good work FReepers!

"These groups with the more radical agenda get a lot of media attention," says Bob Edgar.

No, Bob, you got that exactly backwards: the prestige media does not identify the communist organizers, or play ANY clips from the incendiary speeches, or shed any light on the "anti-war movement" that could be taken as criticism. If the speeches were played on network TV, the public would be outraged or embarrassed.

Big media only proves its radical agenda further with fawning coverage like this.

"...He railed against "U.S. imperialism." And he concluded: "We know that the biggest single contribution that we can we make to the final transition to socialism everywhere is to build a truly revolutionary party that can lead the struggle to overthrow imperialism at its center."..."

That's an unambiguous call for the overthrow of the United States government.

That's a death penalty crime, and he committed it right out in the open.

But, given that his 'comrades' have been gnawing at this country's vitals from within for several generations, it's not surprising that there's a degree of paralysis in the government he advocates the overthrow of.

Which begs the question...

What is to be done?

The last two lines of this article tell the whole story. Only someone who was not there can be fooled by the real nature of the Anti-American rally.

The sad thing about the lamestream media is that they DID have reporters there. And they could have heard the atrocities spoken from the stage in the comfort of their living rooms, courtesy of C-SPAN. The only reason the American people generally does not know the real nature of this rally, is the (deliberate) incompetence of the American press.

Both ANSWER and the International Action Center are closely allied with a small but energetic Marxist-Leninist organization known as the Workers World Party, which in its turbulent history has supported the Soviet interventions in Hungary and Czechoslovakia, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and the Chinese government's crackdown in Tiananmen Square. Today, the WWP devotes much of its energy to supporting the regimes in Iraq and North Korea.

ANSWER, which stands for Act Now to Stop War and End Racism

In an article in Workers World, he bitterly condemned the "lawless aggression" of the "imperialist" and "racist" U.S. air patrols enforcing the no-fly zone.

At a news conference the day before the protest, he grew angry when asked about his association with the WWP. "I want to talk about you," he said. "National Review is a racist pro-war magazine.

It's got a long — many, many generations of racism and militarism.

This is a right-wing, racist, militarist magazine.

Yet another member of the WWP secretariat, a woman named Sara Flounders, also spoke at the rally, denouncing George W. Bush's "racist arrogance" and "plans for criminal war of colonial conquest."

By the time the rally was over the audience had heard enough cries of "Butcher Sharon!," "We don't want your racist war!," and "Free Mumia" to last for many months to come.

The word “racism” no longer has any real meaning. It is simply used as a synonym for "bad".

e.g.:

Conservatives espouse ideas that I don't agree with, therefore they are racist. My soup is either too cold or too salty therefore it is racist.
This serves two purposes.

1. It allows you to be racist at your leisure. If you control and distort the meaning of the word you can prevent it from being used against you.

2. Your opponents can never defend their selves against an accusation that has no meaning.

"We know that the biggest single contribution that we can we make to the final transition to socialism everywhere is to build a truly revolutionary party that can lead the struggle to overthrow imperialism at its center."

When this guy says he wants to overthrow imperialism his own words give him away. He doesn't want to get rid of imperialism, he's an imperialist himself - he favors socialist imperialism!

He simply wants to end the spread of capitalist, Christian, and free democracies. He uses the classic Marxist rhetoric to label these values imperialist, and therefore inherently tars them as bad.

From a student site:

Communists and Socialists support the war against Iraq

The students pulled a dry-erase board off the wall and wrote a simple message: "Hippies Go Home." They took it out to their second-floor balcony overlooking the march, and what followed was what diplomats sometimes call a frank exchange of ideas.

Well I'll be dipped. Some of the kids get it!
