The German and French Governments are acting like there is a hammer over their heads waiting to hit them if they say the wrong thing regarding the war on Iraq. I remember when our Navy would cover those Iraqi fighters with exocets under the fleet umbrella so they could attack Iranian shipping in the Gulf. Our mittens are dirty too.

I started boycotting French wines years ago. This past year I just added California.

I was listening to a political analyst on FoxNews tonight who said that the USA does not need another resolution from the UN. The US insisted that the Inspection Program would only last until the end of January, and that we don't need to go back to the Security Council for their approval for anything.

Except for not having very many "our troops" (and the lack of television) that is pretty much what happened June 14, 1940 when the Germans entered Paris.

The US did not enter World War II until about 18 months later.
