And the US goes in now, to a sovereign country, the voters of which legally elected Chavez (no matter how stupidly), thus interfering in Venezualan law....why, exactly?

Hey, I never said we should go in. The Venezuelans themselves should clean up this mess. I believe they will. Our job should be to prevent other outside forces (read Cuba, Brazil, China, Colombia, or Peru) from going in to support Chavez. And you know they're going to try, even if it's just on the sly.
