I married a real cowboy 44 years ago. He is a cowboy retired now but his attributes are still the same. Strong, hardworking, honest, generous & funloving. Long live the cowboys!

I was fortunate enough to earn a monthly paycheck from a couple of ranches in central Nevada in my younger days...was ahorseback at least 5 out of 7 days every week, winter and summer and I was and am proud to be referred to as a cowboy. I'm not one now, but was proud and happy to be one in those days.

Not enough of us, I'm afraid. I've met a fair number of American europhiles, aggressively promoting All Things European. You've known them too, probably. The types who fill their pantry with obscure, umlaut'ed European foodstuffs, or begin far too many sentences with, "You know, in France.."
