Clinton: Prepare for globalism - a future when America no longer "the biggest dog on the street"

Clinton talks on the global economy at N.Y.U.

Former President Bill Clinton called on an audience of students to prepare for a future when America will no longer be "the biggest dog on the street" at the keynote address Tuesday of a New York University forum on globalization.

The current globalized world is not sustainable economically, politically or from a security vantage point, Clinton said at the second annual conference co-sponsored by New York University and the William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation. Clinton spoke to an audience of about 450 students and guests.

"On Sept. 11, 2001, members of Al Quaeda used the forces of globalization - open borders, easy immigration, easy travel, easy access to information technology - to kill 3,100 people from 70 countries in three cities in the U.S.," Clinton said.

There are ways to improve our security without sacrificing civil liberties, Clinton stressed. For starters, our government needs to start using the same kinds of tracking systems employed by direct marketers and credit card companies, he said.

With such technology the government in a short period of time can track people who have multiple addresses on file, such as Sept. 11 ringleader Mohammed Atta, who had 12 addresses registered in the U.S, Clinton said. The government could also monitor people who have accrued a lot of credit card debt, he added, giving the example of the Sept. 11 terrorist who racked up $260,000 of debt on 30 credit cards.

Profiling people according to their movements or debt is much preferable than "profiling people because of their religion or ethnic heritage or whatever else," Clinton said, adding that people with such extreme habits were "either rich or up to no good."

The former president also touched on topics including the nuclear crisis in North Korea, economic initiatives in Africa, the Kyoto protocol on global warming and primary education in Mexico and Brazil. He said that the U.S. must help create a global society with "shared benefits, shared responsibility and shared values."

Clinton acknowledged that, "this is not the sexiest subject on the block." But he tried his best to add some flair with the analogy, "If none of us ever joined anything unless we got our way all the time, nobody would get married."

Students had high marks for the former chief executive.

"He throws out a lot of different tidbits of information about different countries," said Hiss an Baja, a 22-year-old first-year law student from California, adding, "The reason I came to N.Y.U. Law is because it's known as the global law school."

The day featured three panels on important topics in the globalization debate. Panelists included Robert Rubin, former secretary of the Treasury; Sandy Berger, former National Security Advisor to President Clinton; and George Soros, the investor and philanthropist. Moderators included Bernard Shaw, C.N.N.'s former anchor; and Karen DeYoung, associate editor at the Washington Post.

Welllllllll, after your last,

I went to Google and did a more extensive search on Carol Rosin.

I'm now convinced:

1) She's no flake. She's very bright lady who thinks things through well above average.

2) She's sort of been Shanghai'd intellectually/spiritually by a sort of pacifist/New Age/charitable mentality that is probably the best she could come up with--evidently being unattracted or unaware of authentic Christianity. I read it that she's become sooooooooo disillusioned and even outraged at the powers that be--especially the puppetmasters--and feeling relatively helpless--has ended up doing the only things she could come up with--rally such troops as might intellectually agree with her agenda of stopping space based warfare capacities as Von Braun urged her to do. She seems to have taken it on as a cause as intensely as Von Braun had.

Taking anything on as a passionate cause can leave one appearing and certainly sounding, acting more than a little flakey. But she's no airhead/mindless/liberal flake of the sort we are so commonly outraged at a la Dilldo and company.

She may end up a fellow traveler with some of them but it's a move of desperation and networking with the only groups and subgroups she could think of, help form or find to help achieve the goals she's received from Von Braun and which she's so convinced are crucial to planetary survival.

I can respect her for that.

I'm sad she doesn't realize or know the answer is not along those paths. But she shows a lot more selflessness, courage and pluck than about a hundred USA Senators I know of.

I think she has also oversimplified the whole thing. Though perhaps that's what one must do with super complex situations. Slice through it all and simplify. I think she has made some serious errors in her route to simplification. But I don't think it will be possible immediately to show such serious errors to her or anyone similar. For an extended time to come, Holy Spirit is likely to be the only One sufficiently able to apportion accurately where good and evil lie in all this.

I think the ET's are taking the puppet masters for a ride while the puppet masters are thinking they've outfoxed the ET's. I think any one authentic witness or even some subgroups of witnesses are likely to have relatively tiny pieces of the puzzle or at best a handful of pieces. And some of the pieces well connected authentic witnesses may have may be counterfeit because of ET's subtrafuge; the puppet master's subrrafuge and/or satan's more direct subtrafuge.

That doesn't mean the whole body of data--all the loose, available and not yet available puzzle pieces--that doesn't mean all that is hogwash by any means. . . just that sorting out fly poop from pepper will not be easy just yet. And by the time it becomes easy, choices will be enormously restricted for the average citizen. . . those still alive.

Anyway--Carol Rosin has my respect and sympathy. She's passionately trying to save the earth in the only ways she knows anything about trying to do so with.

She seems to overly wholesale lump all government in with the puppet masters et al. But, she knows more than I do about such things.

Greer's no flake. She's no flake. But they are both feeling probably no small amount of driven by issues and forces much larger than major institutions deal well with--much less individuals and small groups.

I just wish she realized that the only viable solution that will occur is personally for her to put her hand in the hand of the man from Gallilee sp? . . . and to realize that the global problem will not be solved until He overtly sets up His rule and Reign in our time/space dimension.

I think the puppet masters have skillfully set it up at satan's facilitation and direction such that those who oppose them and walk in concert with them will both end up helping their agenda along. Both warmongers and pacifists will have been their fellow travelers--complicit in the global tyranny being set up.

Those who consciously and willfully are complicit in such like Dilldo and Shrillery will bear the worst consequences as well they should.

Those of good hearts like I'm convinced Rosin and Greer have will get off much lighter.

Enough rambling and pontificating.

He is a DemocRAT, yes? Ergo, he IS a liar. And, hence, so is the quote you attribute to him.

At Freerepublic, we've been warning about globalization, often to a chorus of derision and talk of "tin foil hats". Is there any doubt now that's where the Clintons and their ilk are leading us?
