[history]
Gerry Melendez The Idaho Statesman The Idaho Statesman first interviewed Wade Dawson, the new president of the Ada-Elmore Chapter of the NAACP, on Dec. 27 for a profile and took this photo.
Wade Dawson, who in a few short months has become one of the most influential African-Americans in Idaho, has fabricated essential elements of his past. Dawson, who became president of the Boise-Ada-Elmore Chapter of the NAACP just five months after joining last year, has had the ear of Gov. Dirk Kempthorne and Sens. Mike Crapo and Larry Craig.

I agree--give him his own holiday, at least he doesn't claim to be a "reverand", or does he?

It's almost certainly a position where the leader can write checks against his NAACP treasury for personal purposes, and no questions asked.
As Jesse Jackson has demonstrated, a politically correct anointed black leader can indulge himself in almost any level of corruption and get away with it, because no prosecutor has the guts to take him on and bring him before a Grand Jury.
Maybe in this case things will turn out differently, since he already has a criminal record and the press has taken the lead in unveiling it.

Give this guy the
Benjamin Chavis Distinguished Fraud Award!
"Although the 88-year-old NAACP is the oldest civil-rights organization in the country, it is still recovering from the events between 1989 and 1994. During that period, the NAACP was rocked by a number of revelations involving the misconduct and spending of top officials. Benjamin Chavis, the NAACP's national president, was fired after he spent $300,000 to settle a sexual-harassment suit. He also spent $25,000 on personal items and $100,000 for limousines used for work. A former chairman, William Gibson, ran up $111,930 in 'questioned expenses,' including hotel suites and tuxedos."

His credentials make him the perfect person for the job. What more could they want in a leader?

On my "journey" I've not found myself in a prison for felonies. Why are there so many thugs in black "leadership"? The great majority of blacks, like any other race, are decent people. We all want the same things in life. Why aren't the decent people in leadership?

Why didn't he say that he was a weapons inspector in Iraq while he was at it? As if it would be easy to check whether he played college and pro football. What a fool.
I wonder if Will Pitt will put on his resume that he was a regular guest on Aaron Brown's show. :)

"Warren said he´s not sure whether he still has confidence in Dawson´s ability to continue serving as president."After reading the article, I think Dawson is ideally suited to NAACP leadership. I hope they leave him right where he is -- but we all know they won't because he broke their cardinal rule, ie. Don't Get Caught. Anybody making odds on how much Dawson embezzled from NAACP funds?

according to Michigan... University Registrar Paul Robinson said there is no record that Dawson ever attended. Why not? He'd have gotten 20 points just for applying...

...let us all remember,it is not important to have actually done anything or accomplished anything. No, no, one must in this enlightened day merely have wanted to ,or meant to, accomplish some great and noble thing.
I meant to donate blood -I meant to vote,I meant to register for the draft....
At one point the NAACP stood for something decent. At one time Civil rights was a great cause..but now it has been Shanghaied and it is the Money making machine of Pimps and Hustlers... Social Advancement is no longer the Goal...therefore until the good name is repaired from within and money changers cast out ,I shall refer to them as the NA_CP....

NAACP members and public officials were shocked Friday night.Sorry, but I don't believe that.
Maybe some people feigned being "shocked", but they don't really care about a little resume padding, lying, grand theft, forgery, prison time, etc. Most of these people still love Clinton.
