LACI PETERSON UPDATE- 1-14-03
Fox News- On The Record
| 1-14-03
| Greta Van Sustern

Van Sustren interviewed 20 year Berkley Bay fisherman Craig Stone. Stone said that nothing about what Scott Peterson did on the fishing trip to Berkley Bay seemed out of the ordinary to him from a fishing viewpoint. The bait was appropriate and available. The sturgeon were available. The boat size was not unusual. The optimal fishing area was not far off shore. The fish are prized but not easily caught. The time of day peterson was fishing was appropriate. It all seemed plausable to him.

Glad to sacrifice for the group. :)

over eight months pregnant,
She's due in late February. Unless she gestates for longer than the average chick, she was slightly under seven months when she disappeared.

So, why didn't anyone see SP? All those fisherman after those sturgeon, and not one person noticed SP. Not only fishermen but sightseers, dog walkers, shoreline scavengers, joggers, many recreational uses for the park. The park and paths are just yards from where SP's boat would have passed with wide open unobstructed views of the waterway.
And then there is the webcam that would have seen him coming and going at his supposed launch time of about 11:19 AM on the 24th. They flip it on at about 9AM PST and it shows pretty good images until dusk.

I'm not saying he's innocent. I'm just saying we shouldn't be making him guilty unless he's proven so by a court of law. If he's guilty, then he should pay the penalty.

When did all this info come out? I haven't heard anything on television about this newest stuff. (Maybe I was napping through one of the Fox news broadcasts?)

Hubby's girlfriend calls police and asks "why are you showing pictures of Scott Patterson and what's this about a wife - he's divorced" (or so he told her)
Huh? Has anyone else heard this?

My info comes from the newest National Enquirer, dated 1/28/03. Not a front page article, but very informative.

And why does it say "Scott PATTERSON"?
To: Devil_Anse
Oops, my typo. It says Peterson.

They have been pinging the area outside of the marina near the old pier. Sorry vc, I meant sonar scanning, the sonar pings when it sends out sound waves. Remember that scene in 'Hunt for Red October', "one ping only please".

Thanks. I don't ever read it but it is a better paper than it was in the first years of its publication. We used to call them pink sheets then. Mary

Uh, care to post any evidence of these baby snatchers FOR PROFIT. Not nutballs but actual killers for HIRE.
I didn't think so.

We can speculate all we want. It's our right to do so on this or any forum. But sometimes it gets downright cruel (not particularly this crime but others) and we have no proof at this time it was even him. It may well be and if it is, he deserves the fullest penalty he can get.
To: Marysecretary
No, we can't "speculate" all we want...not with YOU coming on and telling us what a crime it is...jeeze, enough already!

Sorry, but I'm not pointing my finger and saying guilty until the jury does. If that's bad, so be it.
To: Marysecretary
You have said it more than once. Is it your purpose to dictate the tone of this thread, with your moral judgments?
We are not going to be intimidated by someone lecturing us for following up on the same leads the Police are going with.
They have NOT and REFUSE to rule the husband out.
If you are having a difficult time dealing with the subject matter of this thread, I suggest you don't read it. That simple.
