LACI PETERSON UPDATE- 1-14-03
Fox News- On The Record
| 1-14-03
| Greta Van Sustern
Posted on 01/15/2003 1:12:22 AM PST by DWar
Van Sustren interviewed 20 year Berkley Bay fisherman Craig Stone. Stone said that nothing about what Scott Peterson did on the fishing trip to Berkley Bay seemed out of the ordinary to him from a fishing viewpoint. The bait was appropriate and available. The sturgeon were available. The boat size was not unusual. The optimal fishing area was not far off shore. The fish are prized but not easily caught. The time of day peterson was fishing was appropriate. It all seemed plausable to him.

No, I don't think anyone would really call like that, but if he had affairs or one night stands in the past he would not want any of these women to see him and come forward.

"Plenty of people can pass lie detector tests with lies"
happen to agree with you there...but here is the thing...when your lovely wife, 8 months with child goes missing...you immediately offer to take a LDT and help the cops in anyway so that they know you are not the perp..
you see,its telling that one would refuse a test...more so than if you actually failed that test...
to offer,in fact .... demand.... a LDT immediately tells me that person has nothing to hide....

Queen, I have the same question as IamHD... were these messages posted on a FR thread, and do you remember which one?

Yes indeed a horrific crime. How did this world ever get so bad?
Clouda's post 76 makes so much sense now. What if he doesn't want his mug on the tube, because he WILL be recognized. I had been thinking this whole time he wasn't going on TV just as a CYA because he was afraid of answering press questions or guilt would be all over his face.
Maybe he's afraid of women he's had affairs with coming forward or maybe he does the club scene telling women he's single (he could even use an alias). Then again, maybe he's worried someone will recognize him where ever he really was on the 23rd or the 24th.
It does not make sense for him to have not one time pleaded for his wife on TV. Who's gonna care if he is emotional (as one excuse that's been used). He would certainly end up getting a lot more sympathy if he appeared distraught over his missing wife and baby.

Good points too! AND maybe he's afraid his voice and body language will be analyzed and he will be found out.

Yeah, no word as far as I can read on this story, on age, and race, just like the 18 year old they found and ruled a homicide in Sacramento, but she was pregnant, 7 to 8 mos.

I said that. More than once.

No, all I am saying is just because a person has lost weight or is on the verge of tears does not make him innocent as was suggested. It doesn't make him guilty either. I am with- holding my judgement....

Only my hairdresser knows for sure. Could you also ping me on any future threads?

They have been pinging the area outside of the marina near the old pier. Could you explain what that means? The only pinging I understand is what we do here on FR. :)
Also, thanks for the photo of the receipt machine at the Marina.

Have you been reading the National Enquirer again, or did you make those items up out of your own suspicious mind?
I like a person who can be so imagnative! ;]
