If anyone is going to be reaping Karmic Retribution it is Saddam. Why does the karmic mumbo-jumbo only apply to the USA??
I hope she goes to Iraq and lectures Saddam the next time he decides to torture or kill someone. He'll like that.

I will say two things about her shirt: It's free of spelling errors and she didn't try to attribute anything on the shirt to Shakespeare. Taking notes Babs??

Sheryl, think of war with Iraq as karmic retribution for Saddam being such a jerk for the past 11 years...

Sheryl Crow has obviously backed her karma over her dogma.

She has reportedly been "passed around" quite a bit.
Another example of creative artistry usurping realism.

"Americans warn of 'Huge CD sales and concert ticket sales slump' if Sheryl Crow continues her anti-war blathering".
With the exception of Country music, the slump has already begun; Ms.Crow and several of her peers are just adding insult to injury.
Judging from the reports about the AMA broadcast that I heard this morning, it is indeed apparent that I didn't miss a thing. I did, however, watch TV GUIDE/VH-1's "100 Moments that Rocked TV" and the Osbournes' "Behind The Music" documentary afterwards.
...Now I understand perfectly why I lean more towards the music of Motown, Kenny Loggins (he has a great compilation out, btw), India.Aire (who is grossly underated and quite talented for a new artist), or basically anything made prior to 1990, with a few-and I do mean FEW exceptions.
-Regards, T.

Wouldn't 'Huge Karmic Retributions' only be an issue for us if we were destroying a Hindu country? Good point! I suspect the Hindus won't complain if we kick the snot out of the Iraqi military and nail Saddam's hide to the barn door. Heck, I bet they'll even be happy at that turn of events!
Also - and I may be incorrect on this point, but I thought that karma was an individual thing - actions of the *individual*, good or bad, sort of "boomerang" back to that individual at some point in the future. I was not aware that karma applied at the national level, or even to smaller groups. I guess I'll just have to research the topic a bit, so I'll be able to tell just how full of sh!t Cheryl Crow really is.

"Her career has been ended by bad karma"Actually, to be fair, she had her best year ever last year. Not a big Crow fan, but it is kind of amusing reading all the hate directed at someone just because they are a little famous and hold an unpopular political view.
I wish actors and musicians would shut up about politics, but then I wish politicians would shut up about politics too. They all have brains the size of sand fleas.
Stupid first amendment rights.....;-)

I guess....I've got other interests..as I've never watched the American Music Awards, ( nor the Oscars for that matter..). And I've no idea what "Joe Millionaire" is about...nor have I ever watched "Everybody Loves Raymond".
FWIW--

I like Sheryl Crow, I just don't like her politics.I used to feel the same way. But here's the gist. She dislikes Bush because of what he stands for, yet, we as music fans, are asked to separate the musician from the politics. Well, when one so blatantly combines the two, it makes it very difficult to remain objective, especially since this is the SECOND time she's pulled the political t-shirt in the past two months. The first time was on GMA when she wore this:
Note the blatant disrescpet for PRESIDENT Bush by calling him Mr. I suspect she does not consider him the 'real' President.
