Lindows is a low budget Linux operating system. I found an article about it on FR last year when Walmart started offering the product. About Walmart offered Lindows, Walmart Lindows for sale, the Lindows site. I haven't heard much about it since it came out for sale, but at the time it was expected to give Windows a run for its money, by offering a competative product at 1/2 or 1/3 of the price.
