I'd even argue that Lennon/McCartney were a whole lot less "socially important" than they and others thought, really..

Lemme guess..... You're 14?

The "Brothers Gibb" obviously didn't feel that way. They made that turkey "Sargeant Pepper" movie.

I'll forgive Barry for making that album with Babs Streisand.

Don't get carried away and say stuff you don't actually believe, just because a painful thing has happened. There is still room as well as an obligation to despise BS on the basis of her politics, demagoguery, hypocrisy, lies and silliness, no matter with whom she made an album - and similarly. there is room to hold Barry accountable for siding with a wealthy socialist "don't-do-as-I-do,-do-as-I-say" bitch like Streisand. So his brother died - it's sad, very sad - but that's no reason to exonerate him of his misguided behavior.

I have that album! You haven't lived until you've heard Steve Martin singing "Maxwell's Silver Hammer."

VIVID memories of that movie. George Burns, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, and of course, Steve Martin.

Nobody gets too much heaven no more

It's much harder to come by

I'm waiting in line

Nobody gets too much love anymore

It's as high as a mountain

And harder to climb

Bye Maurice.

Thanks for the music and the memories.

I think Bee Gees, at times, rose to the level and surpassed Lennon and McCartney.

I, as well. Who could forget "I started a Joke" or "Words" ?

They also donated the rights to the song "Nobody gets too much Heaven" to, I believe, UNICEF, and challenged other singers to donate something from their portfolios.

'Till I finally died

Which started the whole world living

Oh if I'd only seen that the joke was on me

Oh no! that the joke was on me

Oh- oh -oh -oh.

I wish I could remember which one of the twins he was. I hope to run across a picture of the 3 of them from the disco days to see. I remember what Barry the oldest brother looked like, but I don't remember the twins that well.

Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Amen! What does it profiteth a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?

Can you translate this for idiots, like me, who are religiously impaired?

I hope you're not making any nasty allegations about Maurice Gibb? Lose his soul?

Says blockage was an ongoing problem? Could be congenital. Using some pain pills like percodan/pecodan can cause impacted bowels.

I meet Maurice in Miami shortly after my husband died in 1993. The kindness, good advice and laughter he shared with me and my son, who was only nine at the time, we remember. A very special person, who gave freely of his time to help others. A very sad day for his family and so many friends.
