They're in the process of being homeschooled. Just be patient for another ten years! ;-)

Cloning Ann might be faster ;)

If this is true...

Yep.. Thanks to current divorce laws, it makes little sense for a single man to get married.

Then why isn't this true? Thanks to current custody laws, it makes little sense for a single man to have sex.

There are some men who are just better off not being married. They aren't cut out for it.

"I have a feeling all this insisting is a big part of the problem."

I think it was Dale Carnegie who said the worst possible thing a wife could do in a marriage was to nag.

I still can't understand what would make a 43 year old woman that was married for 22 years suddenly decide to leave her family

Two colleagues of mine went through this. Both had wives who left them and their children to shack up with another man. It devastated them and neither has remarried yet. Glad to hear you were able to find someone else.

And that's why we see a never-ending stream of smarmy articles bemoaning the inability of talented, attractive and successful men to find adequate wives, and wondering what deep personality flaws prevent modern women from marrying when men find it convenient.

Doncha get tired of these? It's like a never-ending pity party. Twenty years ago it was they couldn't get any of the good jobs. Now they have all the good jobs and they can't find any husbands. It's always "woe is me." Maybe they'd like to have courts hounding them for money to pay for kids they didn't even have, or an assumption built into law that in the event of divorce, they should move out of their home and into a transient hotel on $400 a month... and never see their kids again. Woe is them.

OOOH! I'm so tired I'm leaving dangling participles!

You didn't do anything wrong, I'm just messing with you.

I have a lovely friend in her 70's who thinks Jeff Chandler was the most gorgeous man every born ... :-)

My mom thought he was pretty cool, too. I live in Chandler, AZ, so... Jeff Chandler seemed a natural for a screen name.

Well, I see you're not in Manhattan. Maybe it's not a match.

Have you tried a Baptist church? They often have impressive matchmaking apparatus.

I wrote a song that basically expresses how I feel about all this. Don't know if I want to post it though. It's pretty dark. Scott Stapp would be proud.

Yeah, our kids are grown, so my wife decided to keep a hound dog puppy that we found in the woods, so we could have a baby in the house. 'Course Fiona chewed a hole in the couch, which a real baby wouldn't do.

But seriously, we have been happily married for 28 years. She is a good person, pretty too.

Birth control, sterilization, abortion. Yes, American women sure are liberated, aren't they?

"You'd rather buy one from Russia?"

LOL! An old friend of mine did just that. I knew it would be useless to warn him. It was an absolute disaster.

Women do seem to whine a lot, don't they?

Men do, sometimes, too.

I always found hot women to nail in supermarkets and libraries. Easy and cheap, no $8 drinks.

Just be careful, a lot of public buildings have cameras.

Be a heck of a drive to go on a date, wouldn't it? :)

Anyway, 20s is a bit young for me.
I'll be 40 this year.

Thanks for asking, though. Hope your cousin
finds a good guy.

Been thinking of becoming Jewish.:) They do this
speed-dating thing that looks like a good way
to meet people.
