"I yelled at the dog to get back, but it attempted to circle me to attack, so I felt that I had no option but to protect myself," the officer wrote in a police report.

A liar and a dog killer. May he rot in hell.

Oh, common!

Have you ever gone through one of those shooting trials where you have about 2 seconds to react before someone bad blows you away or you shoot a pregnant woman by mistake?

If you had a dog run in front of you, would you swerve into a child into order to avoid hitting the dog?

Whatever, the possible danger to the cop was real. Maybe you haven't seen dog bites that ripped off the lower lip of a child or large gapes in someone's arm, but I have.

Drug dealers often train their dogs to attack and kill, so there was no way for the cop to know what he was facing. Hindsight is wonderful. But if it had been my dog, I would have cried and then comforted the cop and told him not to feel guilty.

There is no way in hell that that dog was threatening the officer, as you'll hopefully see when you watch the video.

What did the cop think the dog understood english?

How did the cop not see what was going to happen, the family sure did.

They look pretty suspicious to me. Disheveled appearance, squinty eyes, pale complexion. Yep, it pays to be careful with these kinds of desperados.

"I yelled at the dog to get back, but it attempted to circle me to attack, so I felt that I had no option but to protect myself," the officer wrote...

This is the kind of lying, lilly-livered, yellow-bellied, chicken-sh*t scum we have toting guns and badges around. It makes me ill.

I hope a jury awards millions to this terrorized family. As a dog owner, I know that dogs are not just pets... they are loved and cherished just like any other member of your family. Often they are loved even more than some family members.

This could not have been a more savage act of brutality, or a more clear-cut case of Barney Fife ineptitude and stupidity, if the idiot cop had shot the Dad in the head as he emerged from the car.
