The disruptor is in violation of federal law and should remind us what democrats are all about. He? (she?..it?) undoubtedly votes democrat and may very well be a planned disruptor. The Clintons and the DNC have a formal campaign afoot to attack, reduce, or destroy alternative media.
FreeRepublic can certainly expect many more of these attacks between now and the elections of 2004.
I would love to see the DNC sued for the substantial financial liability in its attacks on free speech, if it could ever be documented that the DNC ordered disruptors to destroy the private property of others (i.e. FreeRepublic.com). I would point out this also involves violations of the RICO act, producing triple punitive damages.

I read that, too. It depends on who he offended here this morning. We've got some top-notch researchers who have the skills to track him down. We can only hope.
To: metesky
Yep, this was pretty ripe. Ug!
To: leadpenny
i.m all for that. even something as simple as a 1 dollar sign up fee. then stuff like this could be tracked based on billing info. plus most kooks won't go through the hassle of online payment just to post nasties....one would think...but i could be wrong.
To: metesky
There are times when you have to stand up and be counted. I'm glad you pressed abuse.

The sad fact of the matter is that ANYONE could post this kind of trash anonymously from one of those Internet cafes where you get an hour on the internet for $5...
They have one in Times Square on the new 42nd street and there would be know way to catch or ban any ghetto trash who decided to attack FR with the present system intact.
FR would just have to be able to block the IPs of those kind of places...it's a good thing that most of these raging mental types, like this weirdo, is probably too stupid to figure that out.
My suggestion would be to prevent all new users from automatically getting read-write privileges until they've been lurking for about a month.

Quit playing games with us on this thread, XBob. The offending photos have been deleted as you have undoubtedly read. Please go back to bed.

Just before one of theses threads was pulled, the offensive poster stated he was using some poor saps proxy (I believe that was the term used). It means he's hacked another Internet Service Provider (ISP). Oopsie, that's a crash-landing (felony).
In other words, he did not think he could be tracked down.
That's what HE thinks.
I hope that's not the case.
It ain't. A PO'd sysad at the hacked ISP can probably find out who he is...

Hardest part is driving 20 mph down 6th and Commercial area. But it is a quaint little town. We were there in Nov. Nothing ever seems to change much. New court house is nice, that's about it.

i see your point but i am luckily home drinking coffee before work. had i been at work, and someone, anyone, saw this %$#@ that was posted on my monitor, i would lose my job. period. i know this thread probably feeds the sickos ego, but a lot of folks need the warning re: these posts.

I'm as liberal as the next guy when it comes to free speech and the 1st Amendment but some sort of grace period (monitoring first 25 replies, data verification, monetary deposit, etc.) should be implemented.
To: DoughtyOne
Thank you very much. Disruptor has been nuked.
To: Poohbah
You are supposing a competent and awake sysadmin. If the guy was able to hack it, I'm guessing the sysadmin for the proxy he hacked is neither.
To: Sungirl
I'm at work too and opened it up and had a mild stroke. Thank G-d my wife didn't wander in when that picture came up on a thread I was reading. I hope they can track this SOB and get him locked up.

That happened to my daughter. She awoke to find her internet sevice cut off. From her account someone had sent out thousands of porn pictures during the night and early morning hours. She had it all straightened out quickly, but none the less was very upsetting.

a good rule in life: do not taunt the sysadmin.

"Thank you very much. Disruptor has been nuked."
You think so??
If he is as persistant an idiot as he has already exhibited, you won't get rid of him that easily.
Maybe it's time to change some rules for new posters...check my previous post a few up from this one...

I think so many of us have hit the abuse button that at least there will be a record that we won't tolerate that kind of crap. Whoever it is is one sick person.

"Quit playing games with us on this thread"
What games - I pull up FFR and see WARNING from Doughty One about this thread, and everyone is all a-stir about some bad stuff coming, and gone on this thread, and I can't find anything.
