I haven't seen a 'pulled thread' notice in months that DIDN'T have the reason for 'pulling' posted.

Some may not agree with the reason listed....but that is a different matter.

Thanks. You once again can't see the forest for the trees. The "cuss" you describe was an anology of stretching the rules to its limits. In trying to follow your thoughts according to your ever present and on going inquiry, your quest seemd to be for a "bottom line" in writing. But your reasoning is suspect because the answers you are given do not satisfy your quest.

JimRob and the Mods do their best to maintain civility. If you can't understand that, you do not have your own set of civil rules that you follow through life's activities.

I find this place great. I've had a reply or 2 ZOTTED and I could only giggle a little and then thank the Mods because of my dalience in the extreme.

People already know what is acceptable or not. And if they don't, all they need to do is take a serious look at the content that is presently online here. Knowing what's pulled or not will not add any additional value to knowing "what posts are acceptable to JR."

If the rules are unclear, you have but to ask. JR and the Mods have demonstrated time and again that they are willing to patiently discuss and clarify anything that you ask. Knowing what was pulled won't change that.

What is and isnt acceptable on FFR has changed over the years.

I am not a mind reader, and no longer know what is acceptable and not acceptable on FFR, like many others I have talked to.

I would never have posted JoeSixPak's fat naked chick, it's not acceptable to me, but apparently it was to him, when he posted it.

Not knowing what is allowed leads to a forum without any fire and that is not offensive to anyone - pablum. If, as someone suggested, we put a G rating (don't post anything you wouldn't show to your children), then we become a children's forum.

Many of the finest freepers have left, either been banned, or got bored.

Porn is not the issue I am discussing, though, but it seems discussing this on other threads gets no reaction or gets pulled. I have gotten more answers on this thread than after months of trying to get some answers.

This is a PRIVATE website. Owned and run by one man and his LLC. He is NOT bound by the constitution in terms of what he chooses to allow on his site since he isn't the GOVERNMENT and the constitution, properly understood, is a document limiting the function and reach of the government.

Thus, his rules can be as fluid as he likes (although as I've written above, the rules are pretty easy to discern for those with eyes to see).

Get a hobby. Other than pestering folks of good will on internet fora.

You have GOT to be kidding. Right? You must be. I see them at least three or four times a dat lately.

If you have posted to a thread that is later pulled, your comment will remain on your "MY Comments" page. If you click the thread title then, you will get a page that says "This thread had been pulled" and a brief explanation (such as "advertisement" or "disruptor post").

Sometimes, if you are posting a comment as the thread is in the process of being pulled, you'll get the explanation as soon as you hit the "Post Reply" button, since the post will no longer go through.

If you didn't post to the thread, you're SOL. There's no way to get something that doesn't exist.
