NOTE: the survival of our Republic is threatened by two things -- fundamentalist Islamic terrorists and Hillary Rodham Clinton. President Bush is leading the fight against the terrorists. It is up to those of us who know the real Hillary Clinton to lead the fight against her. We must shine the light of truth on this dangerous woman so that all Americans may know the real Hillary.

#17 in the continuing series.

In answer to the question, yes, Hillary does have a goon squad. We have known for some time that Hillary insists on controlling those venues in which she appears. She has not appeared at Yankee Stadium because, of course, she would be roundly booed. Perhaps she wishes she would not have shown up on stage at the benefit Concert for New York where she was booed off the stage. In those public venues in which Queen Hillary appears, she gets "a little help from her friends." Those friends are affectionately known as the "goon squad."

Are we making this up? Absolutely not. The source is someone who proudly is in charge of the goon squad. He is Patrick Halley and admits in his book, "On the Road With Hillary," that those who don't like Hillary in a crowd may have the opportunity to get roughed up a bit. Halley is a political hack who has worked for Hillary since 1992. As an advance man, he was in charge of handling all the details that make her look good.

In the following exchange, it is clear that Halley is still very loyal to Hillary despite the fact that his book tells America what he has done for her. This is from an online event on Washington Post online, Sept. 19, 2002, in which questions came from the audience.

Washington, D.C.: Hillary said Ken Starr was part of a "vast right-wing conspiracy" against her and President Clinton. Given the questionable ethics of castigating an Independent Counsel, do you feel that she was right to make that claim?
Patrick S. Halley: I think that anyone who reads David Brock's book "Blinded by the Right" will learn just how true that is. There was indeed a vast right-wing conspiracy and Ken Starr was an integral part of it all.

===========================

That Halley admits what he's done is somewhat amazing. His goons are sprinkled throughout the crowd for Hillary appearances "so there was always someone able to respond quickly."

"Less genteel souls sometimes referred to them as goon squads," he writes his new book. "But I objected to that term. I was proud of the fact that not one of them had ever been arrested," he boasts.

Halley said he prefers the term "etiquette squad" to describe the Clinton goon squads, but he admitted that "they could certainly be intimidating if the occasion called for it."

"The make-up of the etiquette squad differed from event to event, and I always found it best to use folks who were indigenous," he explained. "After all, you wouldn't want to send a team of broad-shouldered teamsters into an event at a women's college."

Halley claims that he "never advocated physical confrontation and always insisted that the etiquette squad stay within the boundaries of the law." But then he confesses, "Sadly, but inevitably, things sometimes got a little frisky, but my recruits knew how to handle themselves."

FROM NEWSMAX:

Rumors of Clinton operatives roughing up both reporters and protesters during Hillary's 2000 Senate campaign were legion, but the mainstream press declined to cover the assaults.

One such altercation took place as Mrs. Clinton marched in New York's St. Patrick's Day parade during the campaign. The scene was described moments later by Metro Network News reporter Glenn Schuck, who assumed that rogue Secret Service agents had been responsible for the thug-like tactics:

"Secret Service agents literally are pushing press to the ground. They just lost their minds, in my opinion," Schuck told WABC Radio's Sean Hannity.

"I mean they just started pushing and shoving; female camera people five feet tall were getting thrown to the ground, cameras flying. Myself, I was grabbed by the shoulder, I was thrown back over. I think somebody from Channel 11 landed on my back. From that point it really didn't get any better."

A few days after Schuck's report, a caller to WOR Radio's Bob Grant Show reported that she and her family were also accosted by the Clinton goons along the parade route.

Caller "Maureen" reported that her family had been booing Mrs. Clinton as she marched along when "they were surrounded by men in trench coats with radios." She quoted the men as saying that they "did not have the right" to heckle, before ordering, "We think you should stop this now."

The goon squad tactics described by Mr. Halley were apparently also practiced by Mr. Clinton's advance team. During an October 1998 protest of the then-president's visit to Philadelphia, demonstrators were set upon by goons wearing T-shirts bearing the message "Teamsters for Clinton."

Philadelphia-native Don Adams was beaten severely during the confrontation and later filed suit against city officials.

Before the revelation in Halley's book, no one previously associated with the Clinton White House had ever admitted using goon squads to stifle free speech.

=======================================

It may be worth noting that while Halley was running the goon squad, he was being paid with taxpayer-subsidized paychecks, compliments of the citizens of Massachusetts, then from the rest of U.S. citizens.

In reading some of the book reviews for "On the Road With Hillary," there was very little mention of the goon squads. In fact, it appears that Kathy Kiely of USA Today was busy kissing Hillary's ample posterior when she wrote the following:

The most significant (and devastating) observation Halley offers has nothing to do with Clinton. It's his take on what motivates the gypsies who, every election season, uproot their lives, disconnect from loved ones and give up regular food and sleep for cold pizza, flat Cokes and all-nighters.

=====================================

To survive politically, Hillary has to hide both her character and her crimes. We can't let that happen. The mainstream press and our fellow Americans need our help.

How fun would it be to be identifying her goon squad and following them in a crowd with a sign pointing to them as the goon squad. Their pictures need to be published.

I don't want to kill them. I was referring to Doug's reference to "things" happening to foes of the Clintons.

Ah, yes. In my case, I was visiting New York (living in Florida at the time) on Columbus Day weekend, when I got to see both Lazio and Hillary campaign. Hillary was much more memorable, as I almost literally bumped into her. I was walking on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx to go pick up some goodies at the Italian Market. I noticed that there was a Columbus Day celebration going on, but decided to walk through the celebration to get to the market. As I walked through the crowd I noticed that they seemed more excited then normal. Lo and behold, when I looked ahead, there was the Hildebeast, wearing old crusty, standing three inches away with her back turned to me. Before I bumped into her, a secret service agent politely stopped me. Thankfully, there were no union (of Mafia) thugs around to "make the message stick."

Hello Doug -

Thanks for posting this - I thought I had already heard enough negative things about her and I didn't even know this. I thought it was Secret Service agents roughing up people.

It is absolutely amazing what she gets away with. I would gladly volunteer to boo and jeer and heckle her - I'm not a small guy and would not be easily intimidated. If someone was there with a camera to document any illegal overbearing force - I would really enjoy exercising my rights as a free American and I would go to the mat with anyone who tryed to stop me short of using a gun or a knife.

I would be thrilled and prouc to go to jail if necessary. Unfortunately, she doesn't come to my side of town, the left coast.

Slandered by name in the Hartford Courant and lied about as being an Anti-Semite by Clinton Supporter Michelle Jacklin

Lied about on the radio by defeated Democrat Clinton Supporter Jim Maloney

And don't forget the lies fabricated by DemocRAT Clinton supporter Maloney that were spread all over our local TV affiliates: Channel 3 (WFSB-CBS), Channel 30 (WVIT-NBC), Channel 8 (WTNH-ABC) and Channel 61 (WTIC-FOX) after our incredible LIEberman FReep - Saturday, Dec 2, 2000. We were "anti-Semitic" and we "had Confederate flags flying". (???) Geesh!

I agree. I sure wish one of us was filming the whole event back at that Columbus Day parade in NYC. Well... we'll know better when she gets her presidential campaign going!

Oh, I forgot to add in my post above (#33) that when the Hildabeast came walking by - besides her thugs "roughing up the crowd" (basically pushing and shoving us) - we were BOOing her, so her thugs kept shouting "Hillary! Hillary!" even louder to outshout us! She had this fortress of people surrounding her...it was amazing. I've never seen anything like it.

Sounds like a cult to me

This kind of stuff (will everyone on a parade route have to salute or be beaten?) resembles Nazi Germany, Stalin's Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc satellites, and tinhorn African dictatorships (like Mugabe's Zimbabwe).

For the followers of the Clintons, it is a substitute for religious beliefs. It is their religion.

I can imagine you were amazed with what you witnessed. Hillary has to try to control everything. If she can't, the truth will be revealed. Everything is a photo-op.

Maybe some holy water (would holy water be considered a deadly weapon?)

Damn, I'd love for one of them to mess with me. I can see myself whaling on him some, then throwing him in front of Hillary while screaming, "There's your goon squad, there's your goon squad, right there!"

...well...I can dream, can't I?

Wait. Watch. Worry.

re: Holy Water

That is brilliant! At any event where Hillary appears, we have plastic bottles labeled "Holy Water." We obviously can't get close enough to spray it on her, but we can spray it on the podium where she has been, on a chair, on the doorway, etc. That could be an ongoing FReep. We could even sell the Holy Water to raise money for FR. I wonder if we could really get a priest somewhere to bless it. Perhaps outspoken anti-abortion advocates Archbishop Levada of San Francisco or Archbishop Chaput, who I think is from Colorado.

It is highly unlikely that any legitimately ordained priest or bishop would approve of such a use of actual holy water -- despite the obvious good intention, it would probably still be considered disrespectful and sacrilegious.

Still, I must say I think it is an excellent idea, even if it isn't actually holy water. The point would be made if it were holy water, regular water, or even some industrial-strength disinfectant.

"Rumors of Clinton operatives roughing up both reporters and protesters during Hillary's 2000 Senate campaign were legion, but the mainstream press declined to cover the assaults."

Does this include FOX news? I suspect it does, and that's a big complaint of mine with FOX. They really don't report the news that Joe/Jane Average need to know to realize what's truly up. I don't mean the roundtable discussions or Hannity/Colmes - the news reports every hour on the hour.

For example, why didn't FOX hammer home the point that Socialist Darling Bill Clinton is more of a racist than Trent Lott ever dreamed of being?
