A rabbi was stabbed Friday night in a Paris synagogue by an unknown assailant who fled, Israel Radio reported.
According to the radio the assailant stabbed Rabbi Gabriel Farhi in the stomach, shouting "Allah Wakbar" before running away.
Farhi, who was lightly wounded, was treated at a hospital, before being released.
Farhi told the radio that this was not the first time he or his family had been threatened and that very morning he had received a threat.
Paris police are investigating the incident.

From reuters:
PARIS (Reuters) - A rabbi was stabbed in the stomach at a Paris synagogue on Friday, although his condition was not life-threatening, police said.
Rabbi Gabriel Farhi, who runs the Jewish Liberal Movement of France (MJLF) office in eastern Paris, was attacked at around 5 p.m. local time, said Edith Lenczner, spokeswoman for France's CRIF umbrella group of Jewish organizations.
She said no further information was available.
The MJLF is affiliated to the World Union for Progressive Judaism. Among its aims are adapting Jewish religious rituals to modern life and preserving the memory of the genocide of six million Jews during World War II.
According to the organizations's Web site (www.mjlf.col.fr), Farhi was born in 1968. He has recently stepped up efforts to establish closer ties between Judaism and other religions, in particular Islam, it said.
A U.S.-based Jewish human rights group last year issued an advisory to its members urging "extreme caution" when traveling to France after a spate of attacks on Jewish schools, cemeteries and synagogues.
The Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center in July downgraded its advisory to "caution," praising the center-right French government elected in June for boosting police monitoring of anti-Semitic activity.

shouting "Allah Wakbar" before running away. Well, well, I wonder what the assailant's religious affiliation is?

Once upon a time, the scorpion decided to take a long trip, and in the course found himself in face of a large river. Since he did not know how to swim, he decided to stay there thinking about a solution. The toad was passing by and greeted the scorpion who did not hesitate to explain his problem. The toad proposed to take sir scorpion to the other end of the river with the stipulation that he promises not to sting his back and that they remain good friends. The scorpion agreed, and the toad then put him on his back swimming towards the bank. As they were reaching the other side, sir scorpion stung the toad and then jumped out to high grounds, saying: "Your slippery back dirtied my legs".
Lesson: "Choose your friends carefully".

Rabbi Gabriel Farhi, who runs the Jewish Liberal Movement of FranceYet the liberals continue to support the Islamanazis. I just don't get it. A vast majority of feminists and Jewish people are liberals and they would be the first to suffer terrible repercussions in a muslim society. Nevertheless, they are staunchly against the WOT. I just don't get it.

What do the Europeans expect? Sixty four years after Kristallnacht, anti-semitism is tolerated in Europe. Can't the Europeans understand that an excess of anything good becomes a nemesis, even tolerance? This was known in ancient Greece at the dawn of European civilization. Some things cannot be tolerated. Have these people learned anything from history?

"Police is investigating the incident."
Yes, they have. Ok, you might say that it´s the Europeans fault that they grant muslims the right to liver there...

Sixty four years after Kristallnacht, anti-semitism is tolerated in Europe. Not only is it tolerated, but you have the younger Germans complaining that they do not want to hear about the Holocaust, because "it was so long ago" and "we were not part of that".
