This is the same newspaper that published the Doug Marlette "What Would Mohammed Drive" cartoon - yet the won't stick up for their chief political reporter to say what he thinks in a private email. CAIR wins again.
It's a religion of crybabies.

So, a columnist, whos paid to tell his opinion, nets a 7 day suspension for saying what every other American is thinking?

"It's a religion of crybabies."Close, it's a non-religion of retards with all apologies going to non-islime retards.
When I hear or see more rag heads apologise for the last 20+ years of terrorism by their brothers, sisters then and only then will I reconsider my opinion. Based upon the comic book koran, it is hard to associate the term "religion" with them. THAT is an insult to all other religions.

This reporter did not deserve a suspension for that. No way.

If this wasn't so ridiculous it would be funny. Ahhh what the hell, it is funny. If I were him I would thank my lucky stars that I was unloaded for this reason. Maybe he can get a job at a place that doesn't give a hoot what he writes in his supposedly private e-mail.

"OK, they can squat around the camel-dung fire and grumble about it, or they can put their bottoms in the air five times a day and pray for deliverance; that's their business," Cotterell wrote in his e-mail. "And I don't give a damn if Israel kills a few in collateral damage while defending itself. So be it." Fine, direct prose, but it breaks the bland rule.

5{y can squat around the camel-dung fire and grumble about it, or they can put their bottoms in the air five times a day and pray for deliverance; that's their business,"
So what's the problem? Accuracy in reporting is always admired.

The Tallahassee Democrat...Now there's an oxymoronically named newspaper.

I just cannot believe the inroads the islamis are making.
They are smart and clever and know how to use the levers of power to achieve their goals.
We are now in the process of being intimidated.
This is disgusting. CAIR is a fifth column. And the paper is spineless.
Actually, the tone has been set from the very top of our country.

Cotterell criticized most Arab nations for not "getting over" the creation of Israel and making peace.Spot on! It seems to me that if the Arabs insist on throwing a half-century long hissy fit over the existence of Israel, they should at least accept the attendent consequences. But I guess that is expecting way too much.

The Tallahassee Democrat did not publish
dougmarlette.com cartoon in their paper only on their website and that for only a few hours.
I sent the following to Bill...
The Tallahassee Democrat published Sharon Rauch's "Homosexuality is an easy scapegoat for churches" but finds your private non-published e-mail and dougmarlette.com cartoon offensive, this kind of thinking is one of the main reasons I don't subscribe to their waste-paper, to think it's ok to suspend their best reporter and blast Christianity but not Islam, the managers and editors of the Democrat must be afraid to offend those whose kin kill us or those that are intolerant of us, why else would they allow Rauch's "my view" column to be published and not Marlette's Cartoon?
keep the faith...rto

"They absolutely do not represent the views and sensitivities of this newspaper. Worse, they run counter to many of the values we hold dearest, among them tolerance, diversity and inclusiveness." Tennesse is worse off than I thought!

Suspension may be a fate worth than death for this reporter. When he comes back to work, he'll be the target for every Islam power group in his city. He may even be the target of some nut case Islami in a worst-case scenario. All his future writing will be examined, cross-examined and parsed.
If I were he, I'd take the first camel out of town and look for a job elsewhere in a different field (he'll probably be blacklisted elsewhere, poor dude).
What's up is down and what's down is up. Nice guys finish last these days.

All...
Several of the 9/11 terrorist bombers lived in Tennesse and if I remember correctly got some of their flight training there also.
Was it Knoxville?

Islam = Idolatrous Cult of Murder founded by a child molester. I'd like to see us invade Mecca and piss on that stupid rock they worship
Now let's see what CAIR has to say to me.

"And I don't give a damn if Israel kills a few in collateral damage while defending itself. So be it."But do we care if China kills a few (thousand) Americans with the weapons technology that Israel recently sold them?
Enquiring minds want to know.

It also should be a lesson to Cottrell, that he works for fraudulent lying 'Democrats' who could care less about anyone's INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS to freedom of speech, or thought. They only worship at the shrine of 'group rights.'
