The employment section in the Memphis paper is thin, real thin, the thinest I've ever seen it in 17 years. Truck driving and security guard jobs seem to domineer what there is of it. Scary, very scary. The jobs offered up here are nurses, home care givers and truckers. The U.S. is in a sad state of affairs, Gail!

Good mornin SheLion from a fellow Mainer. I read your posts regularly. Maine truely is in financial trouble. And they elect a governor who wants (secretly) a service tax to pull us out of the debt left behind by King. I'm afraid wer'e in for a long ride to ruin. Freeperly yours, DokMad aka DrMadd

The jobs offered up here are nurses, home care givers and truckers. Same as above - a nursing degree is a good as gold in most places.

Home care givers, truckers and nurses...when Medicaid starts cutting, that leaves truckers. At least in the great depression, us rubbertramps could hop a freight.
