Lets see if Tim Russert, Host of, "Meet the Depressed" mentions Ellen Ratner ot Senator Patty Murray in this Sunday's Show?
We already witnessed what a fuss he made over Trent Lott's remarks, Lets see if he returns the favor :-)
I wouldnt hold your breath, My guess is that Russert will focus on "The Axis of Evil" speech and how that single (Axis of Evil) remark by George W. Bush killed the deal Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter worked out with N. Korea in 1994. Despite the fact that we know N. Korea has ignored the resolutions they agreed too and they have been developing Nuclear Weapons despite of the promises they made to the world. They will write us off as chicken shits. They do so at their own peril.

Korea in 1994 Oh please the Axis of Evil comment was just an excuse .. if the N. Korea was sooooooooooooo upset why did it take them over a year to respond to it
And if NK was soooooo easy to deal with back in 1994, then why did Clinton think about bombing the reactor then??
I'm just a simple stay at home mom and I can figure that out .. if Russert can't then is he exactly what his crictics claim him to be .. just another party hack pushing the party line ..

Dear Fox News:
Ellen Ratner should be fired for the comment she expressed on Cavuto today, that she hopes President Bush "screws up the war" so that a democrat can be elected in 2004. This is tantamount to her hoping that American military lives are lost for the advancement of her political agenda. This view is repugnant and has no place in American media as our nation begins this war of Iraqi liberation.
Cordially,
Dale Warren

Comeonnnnnnn, get off Ratner's case. So a few thousand soldiers die to get Bush out of office. It's not like they're "important" people or anything. After all, they vote absentee & don't get their votes counted anyway...
< sarcasm off >

Rat can hope all she wants. The only Commander's-in-chief capable of screwing this pooch would be Carter and Clinton, and I wouldn't put the pooch thing past Clinton anyhow.

It was truly shameful to hear her wish (with glee) for this effort to result in death and loss by the U.S. She (like most libs) is positively unAmerican.

This requires thousands of e-mails to Fox. I already sent mine.

I just watched it. She was giving her predictions for '03. Brenda said Bush will be reelected. Ratner said, and I quote, "unless he messes up the war -- I hope." Brenda: "You hope"? Ellen: "Well, I don't want him to win the election." Well that honest comment by Ratner speaks volumes to what the Democrat elite have become: "To hell with the country, we just want to rule."

Lets see if Tim Russert, Host of, "Meet the Depressed" mentions Ellen Ratner ot Senator Patty Murray in this Sunday's Show? Fox News is the only hope that we have of having any attention paid to this remark, but it's not likely that they'll do anything about it unless we write to them and demand that they bring Ellen back on the air and confront her with that remark.
Lots of people have said that they've written to FNC demanding that they refuse to have Ratner back on FNC, but I think that we should write to Fox and insist that they bring Ratner on to, say, H&C, and allow Hannity to confront her with that remark and expose, as John Huang said, what liberals secretly say on the back roads every day."
I'm going to e-mail Sean Hannity and ask him to do just that.

Why should Fox have Ratner back to spew more anti-American venom?
The fact is, Ratner is a paid "consultant" to Fox, one of its stable of socialist, liberal, venom-spewing rats perpetually on call to provide controversy and "balance" for its shows and for the sake of its ratings.
Fox has known what she is from the gitgo, a motor-mouthed but insidious left-wing operative. Now that she has overtly stepped over the line, will this network continue to keep her in its hire? It'll be interesting to see.
The considerable stipends Fox pays her for appearances on its programs is fungible and allow her to fund her other personal fifth-column activities. Just being connected with Fox also allows her to enhance her resume for obtaining other well-paying speaking jobs. It has been a mutual kissy-face arrangement between the network and Ratner and I hope Fox wakes up. If this totally evil woman is allowed back on any Fox program, I'll be very revealing to me.
Is it "fair and balanced" to finance traitors to this country on the eve of a war which may see many of our troops killed in action as RATner evidently hopes will happen?

Why should Fox have Ratner back to spew more anti-American venom? So that voters can see what the democrat party is all about. The more people who are made aware of that statement, the more voters democrats lose. The American people need to understand exactly how anti-American democrats really are.

I am grateful that Gibson saw and reacted to the idiocy of her remark. I have no trouble with Ratner staying on Fox as long as there are plenty of other voices to point out the danger in her words. Juan Williams is great on the panel discussions because it gives Brent Hume and Tony Snow a chance to respond to the danger in their liberal positions. I think it is very effective from a conservative point of view.
Ratner's comment did nothing to advance liberalism. Quite the contrary.

Thanks for the link. I gave her the JohnHuang2 treatment. My 2 cents worth. :)

I generally agree with your hypothesis. However, this America-hating, loathsome woman went beyond the pale. There should be some consequences for her, that is, cutting off her compensation. Let her move over to CNN which has no honor.
For example, should someone like Calypso Louie Farrakhan be paid to regularly spout anti-semitism as a consultant on Fox programs just for the sake of "waking up the sheeple" as to what he really stands for? You know the network wouldn't tolerate it. Here's an opportunity for Fox to demonstrate some honor by cutting off its funding support of Ratner and her insidious activites.
