you can do a lot in 2 weeks if you HAVE to do a lot in 2 weeks. What's their supply ordering status? If they have been given authority to draw from the war-time stores, they will have everything they could possibly want within two weeks.
I had things on order that were holding planes in the hanger bay for weeks with no delivery date and when we got war-time stores authority, it arrived in three days to the Med.

Negative on that. The ROK Army is comprised of some really high speed troops. They would not run like their predecessors in the first go round. What to look for if the NKs are serious: unexplained explosions in and around electical plants and telecommunication centers.

Deploy them where to and based from where?

ALL.Marines are "...ready, trained (and) rotating somehow..."

That done, you start bombarding.
Easier said than done. I was just reading that NK Navy has >400 surface combatants and ~90 submarine units. But I admit, bombarding them with the big guns has definite appeal.

Could be deploying a couple of carriers off of Inchon--to keep the Kor-coms from doing anything during Iraqi engagement.

Having Tigers onboard was always fun. The kids get a kick out of what we do and I like the fact they treat you like some type of hero for simply doing your job.

Understood. I meant to ask the nature of their deployment there. But again, Marines deploy for one reason only. Ad them to the 37k in SK, and we don't have much there right now.

It's best he not know when he'll meet Hitler, Stalin and Allah until he meets them (though I'm sticking with the extermination process beginning within 12 hours of the first new moon of 2003).

I was an adult, and I thought all you guys were heroes for doing your job. The job is that important.

INDEED,
And why do we on the side of right and truth have to be such wimps in the war of words in the body politic and public marketplace????
I think we ought to call Dilldo and Skullery traitors and commies at every mention of them in public etc.

I see Uncle Rummy taking one Battleship out of reserves and remember in Philly are 3 all gun heavy crusiers that have been receiving overhauls and upgrades for years. There guns are 8 inch and auto feed it would take about 3-4 months to put them back in action, only thing working against them is they are black oil ships.

Boy, things are happening fast...Yes they sure are. I would not be suprised if President Bush takes action against Iraq before the UN inspectors report, due by January 27, is released.

"and but not least, near China so they could perhaps have some spill over into China and ask for China's assistance in repelling the enemy if necessary."
Location, location, location...and I'd bet it is essential to hit this locale in order for the US to take care of this nasty business too. I am sure there are some signed China/NK agreements that would be germane. (Buckle up for safety folks!)

Hadn't thought of that Scripture in that light. Great post. Thanks. Saved.
