Tell Sen. Murray To Step Down TODAY!

Republican Sen. Trent Lott was ousted from power for praising Strom Thurmond. So what happens when a Democrat Senator praises terrorist leader Osama bin Laden?

According to WorldNetDaily.com, "Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., told a group of high-school students in her state that the U.S. should adopt Osama bin Laden's nation-building tactics." And apparently, she's making the same comments to students all over Washington state.

Murray is telling the students that people who live in Third World countries might have a better view of the United States if Americans followed Osama bin Laden's example of being "better neighbors out in other countries so that they have a different vision of us.... rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan."

Rep. George Nethercutt (R-WA) says that to have a senator suggest that Osama bin Laden is a good guy and the U.S. hasn't done anything to help people is "shocking, bizarre and uninformed," saying, "You have to wonder what country Sen. Murray has been living in since September 11th." Democrats like Sen. Joseph Biden (D-DE), on the other hand, were quick to defend her statements as simply a "very bad choice of words."

A very bad choice? Osama bin Laden didn't build roads, schools and day cares. He ran terrorist camps in Afghanistan that trained the killers who carried out the 9/11 attacks on America. It's the American people who lead the world in helping people of impoverished countries, not murderers like bin Laden.

Murray is a leader in the Senate; she was chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in the recent 107th Congress. After Trent Lott's "very bad choice of words," Murray was one of the first to say, "Like all Americans, I was disturbed by Senator Lott's comments. They were offensive, hurtful and wrong. Worst of all, they do not appear to be isolated remarks."

Well, Sen. Murray's "offensive, hurtful and wrong" remarks don't appear to be isolated, either, according to teachers' reports from across the state of Washington. And as Chris Vance, chairman of the Washington State Republican Party, said, "Patty Murray sent the message to these students that the United States somehow deserved or brought on the September 11 terrorist attacks... It is absolutely outrageous and despicable to imply that the American government should learn a lesson from the madman who murdered thousands of American citizens."

The only one who should learn a lesson here is Sen. Murray.

Hasn't she made outrageous statements before? Her name sounds familiar.

Washington is not so different from many states. In 2000 Gore won my state of Wisconsin by only a few thousand votes out of about two million cast. But my congressman is a Dem as are both senators and the governor. Even my state senator is a Dem. In fact out of eight congressional districts, only one or two have Republicans for congressmen. The Madison district, as you might suspect, has Tammy Baldwin who is a lesbian. Guess what her political persuasion is?

Senator Murray is a Democrat in a very liberal state with a Democrat governor. Her presence in the Senate is irrelevant. Her replacement would be her ideological clone. She hasn't even thought of resigning. She is still laughing over Trent Lott's woes.

We should still persist in her removal! We could accomplish two things in one fell swoop. First, reveal the dems as a party of anti-american, anti-military, blame-america-first (same like they did by 'revealing' us as the 'racist' party--Turnabout is fair play). Second, possibly--although 99.999% unlikely--removing this dolt from office. And unlike the dems, who if they couldn't get Lott to stay would have liked him to resign his seat so their demorat governor could appoint a DEM to replace a REPUBLICAN, we would be doing this out of principle since there no chance of trying to grab that seat the way the dems wanted to do with ours.

SEN. PATTY MURRAY, (D) Washington: If Congress fails to grant PNTR to China, we will hinder our broader relationship with that country, make it harder to promote change there, and damage America's workers and industries, as they compete with other countries for a place in China's market.

Keep drinking the kool-aid. The very same lot already here in the U.S. hate America despite being exposed daily to "propaganda" and the Christian principles it is based on by the Founding Fathers. They are brought up from Day One to destroy "infidels" for not following their way. And they already know everything they want to know about America and couldn't care less until it is destroyed. Meanwhile RINOs and RATs fiddle while terrorist states are given group hugs.

re: your letter to the Seattle Times...Absolutely fantastic..you have reminded me why I love FreeRepublic.com so very much. I've often said that this website has the most intelligent and insightful people in the world, and your letter to the Times is proof of that. You're probably correct that the editorial staff at the Times will file this in the round file, but I've saved it for my archives...GREAT WORK, MY FRIEND.

I simply cannot believe you said that. You appear to be a reprehensible human being as well as a raving lunatic. You seem to have been breathing too much of the rarified air in the halls of Washington DC. What you need is a reality check. So put on your tennis shoes and pack your bags and take a hike. You should not be occupying a position of respect where you have access to other peoples children.

The only one who should learn a lesson here is YOU. If you have any honor or respect for those Americans who lost their lives on 9/11, you should resign from the U.S. Senate IMMEDIATELY.

I sent mine... Thanks Doc

Thanks, friend. Now, here's a little humor:

Murray to Press - "Patty Tired!"
AP - December 2002 - Dateline Seatle Zoo

An irate Patty Murray swung angrily from her tire here today, denouncing her critics' negative reviews of her remarks praising Osama bin Laden.

"Patty tired!" Day signed as the hirsute congressthing shrieked in rage and flung her feces at rapidly retreating critics. Murray, through her interpreter added "Apple not love tired Patty!"

Zoo officials were at a loss of explain her behavior.
