Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat presides over a cabinet ministers session at his headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah, Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002. The Palestinian Cabinet accepted the recommendation of its election commission to delay the vote, set for Jan. 20, until 100 days after Israeli troops leave West Bank cities and towns. Since the Israelis have given no signs that they are preparing to pull back, that amounts to an indefinite postponement.
Well that solves a problem in my view.
They voted to not vote for something. Cool, the Israelis should wait a long time before leaving. That is what I would do.

Think of the outrage if any ENGLISH SPEAKING white troops were fighting in Africa! The French can get away with things!
Note to those who put the French down due to WWII behavior: I do not think they surrendered [to Germany] because they were wimpy cowards, I think it was because they were on Germany's side!
Polls showed only about 10% of French population siding with England/USA in that war; some 35% were pro-Hitler, maybe many more; the rest didn't care WHAT happened.
I think an awful lot of French people still have views along those lines.
