And the odd thing about this advertorial is that "Newsweak" is selling AOL product. I wonder if Little Dick Parsons is negotiating with Warren Buffett for a bribe -- I mean, a favor?

What the whistleblowers did was PRESERVE capitalism. Capitalism is destroyed by greed, not honesty.

I sat down here in New York with my cup of coffee and watched this "unveiling" on Fox and Friends. I never really understood what is the significance of one liberal magazine's opinion. For my money, there are far more worthy choices - when they said "Persons of the Year", I thought, "Republicans" - after all, it was their year. ;)

Regards, Ivan

Cooper, 38, a WorldCom internal auditor, alerted the company's board in June to $3.8 billion in accounting irregularities. A month later, the telecommunications giant declared the largest bankruptcy in U.S. history. Watkins, 43, sent memos in August 2001 warning Enron chairman Kenneth Lay that improper accounting could cause the company to collapse. The company later filed for bankruptcy, and Watkins resigned as a vice president last month.

The two corporate whistleblowers sounded like they wrote CYAs just before the companies went bankrupt. One wrote her's one month before the company declared bankruptcy. She'd have to have been an idiot not to know something before the final month.

LOL, the Time Clymers will do ANYTHING to avoid picking the obvious choice, George W. Bush. What a bunch of crybaby bed-wetters.
