The new 4-D sonograms are like the HDTV version. Truly amazing. I'd like to see a nationwide program of churches buying the machines for Crisis Pregnancy Centers, which could then offer them for free.

You want a happy face? ..... in color? ..... here's one for you ..... J

And a bump for the encouraging news in this article. What really struck me was that Ebony not only decided to have her baby but also to improve her own life .... a real win/win situation!

I've always said the way to end abortion is to change "Hearts and Minds"....Either way is light years better than the hard-core anti-abortion freaks who do nothing but SCREAM "ALL OR NOTHING" and scare women away from the GOP, thus hurting their own cause.

I see. And the difference between your plan and a garden variety quizling would be...

It would seem you have more in common with your opposition than with your allies.

You sound just like the sophisticates that tore their hair out at the simple-minded provocations of Ronald Reagan.

" Making it hard to be in denial about the value of conception-forward human life is a worthy focus of the pro-life movement.

I couldn't agree more!

I have some cites which show she was opposed to abortion. She was a eugenicist and a racist, but she was opposed to abortion. She called it a barbaric practice.

So as long as we restrict our barbarisms to eugenics and racism it's okay to revere Sanger.

Amen. Sonograms save lives. It's a fact.

I place very little value on children born into these circumstances.

The expression "a life not worthy of living" was first used in a German medical journal in the mid 1930's. The "quality of life" ethos, which regards some humans as disposable for the convenience of others, is well understood by the Stalins, Pol Pots, and Sangers of this world. You do not find yourself in savory company.

Hey don't you guys know, we are not suppose to take a stand on anything. YOu must be flexible - blow with the wind - dont' rock the boat - play the game. The object is to keep politicians in office - not make a better country. I can see where we got off course there.

If you are not 'ALL OR NOTHING' abortion - then just give up. What should we say - just murder a few babies. How many would be enough? If you can't take a stand on murdering babies - then you can't take a stand on anything. Quite frankly, until this country stops this madness - we are lost. Nothing we do will make any difference.

Is there anywhere to draw the line and say this is where I take a stand? Besides getting some politicians elected? It is just unbelieveable how people have gotten roped into the 'cheering for my team' mentality about politics. It is more important to win the game - then to stop the murder of innocents. I know they say you can't make it better if 'our side' doesn't win. Well, I have not figured out who 'our side' is. So far it seems 'our side' or that of murdered babies, hasn't won.

A Merry Christmas to all!! And may next year be better for the babies - of ALL ages.

Well...Except for the FACT that I've voted Republican (Conservative) everytime since I was 18...Straight ticket, no exceptions, but for a few local politicians I've personally known.

Yes, my Broken Glass Republican attitude and actions are warmly welcomed by liberals.

Merry Christmas.

Wonderful. That makes you about as useful as a "Christian" that doesn't believe the Bible....The good you do in the pew doesn't make up for the damage you do at the dinner party.

Tell that to the 537 Republicans in Florida who are EXACTLY like me...And are personally responsible for the election of President George W. Bush.

Or the millions of people who do good and help others on Christmas while not neccisarily having been "Saved".

Come on down off your soap box in the sky...All us "Useless" people are getting tired of holding it up for you.

Merry Christmas.

I thought it best to expand on the "Christian that doesn't believe the Bible" analogy, as it may come off sounding like generic carping instead of conveying an actual model.

Often times a person that doesn't have a firm (read: comprehensive) foundation to their belief structure will make compromises with their opposition to retain some credibility (in their own mind) with that opposition. What they don't usually recognize is that the compromise gains them neither the respect of the opposition (who will use them as a foil to weaken the "true believers"), nor the support of their allies.

Well I'll admit that the 537 just like you were important, but apparently Karl Rove was pretty concerned about the 4.5 million "Saved" votes GWB didn't get. I think you are the tree holds up the branches; not the other way round.

Those 537 will kindly vote straight-ticket Republican...And then cheer as conservative judges and laws are passed. Rather than liberal judges and laws.

But don't expect us to approve as "All or NOTHING" screamers scare women towards the DemocRATs...They need to comprimise too.
