Oh, justice is incarcerating the not guilty? Oh, I see.

There are plenty of people in this country and on this forum who'll parrot the O.J. Simpson line "The system works!" as if that was their original thought, and who'll bring up the tired old DNA arguments, and try to bury you in details as they themselves have been buried. As in so many other similar cases where the culprits are declared innocent, the system that supposedly works, is really saying that while a horrible crime had been committed, there are no guilty parties! Nicole Simpson done gone and murdered herself!

I've been saying for a long time that we've got a judicial system in this country that is not about justice, but is only about itself! "One million lawyers and other disasters", goes a Tom Paxton song...

We are a nation of passive-aggressives, and no I don't think that is good because hatred burns the hottest inside these types.

RE # 34:

Good post! What, the Racism Religious Police hasn't come around yet demanding that you cover your indecent thoughts head to toe inside a burqa?

Rpost #17 - by bogus confession I didn't mean he didn't rape her, but he also said in his "confession" that he was the only one, that the other vermin were not involved. They are all guilty (and no doubt more) but not he alone.

One of the most digusting aspects of this vision of hell is the racism - that blacks have a right to harm white people. It not only creates fear and animosity on the side of whites, but allows black people who could have a life, to become animals.

It came from somewhere. If the tooth fairy did it he should be convicted. If these people did it, they should be convicted. If you did it, you should be convicted. I'm interested in the guilty being punished. The justice system works well sometimes, and not so well other times. But justice is rarely served. And never when the wrong people are convicted. Neither you nor I know what happened here, but one of us thinks they do. Hint; it ain't me.

So you claim not to know what happened but you're certain that they're innocent. You must have a nice view up in cloudkookooland.

"Racism Religous Police" I like that. I also think that "Racial Preferences Lobby" should replace "Civil Rights Groups" as the moniker for some of these racial Taliban thugs.

> And a substantial proportion of black workers in business owe their jobs to racial pressure groups, and are "clerks from hell."

I was at a Cub grocery store and encountered a male Somali clerk who was directing expressions of outright hostility toward the customers. I'm used to indifferent cashiers at stores. Thats OK, but this dude took the cake. It was clear he had no previous models of how to cooperate with other people in an orderly society or any experience with a work environment at all.

Now you are guilty. Of making things up. I never said they were innocent. Talk about cloudkookooland.

-- and the U.S.S. Harry F. Bauer, attained the final rank of Lieutenant Commander, and earned a Bronze Star and a Gold Star. --

WTF is a Gold Star ? Never heard of that as a military decoration.

Centurion2000, neither have I but wait it gets better...

-- In January of 1970, following the election of President Richard M. Nixon , Morgenthau resigned from his post as United States Attorney. --

Morgenthau's bio has another problem: President Nixon was elected in 1968. These dates do not line up. Bells should be going off in the head of a basic HR drone if they were reading this bio as a job application.

I wonder how much longer law enforcement can continue to fight crime without support from the courts. How much longer will they go before laying down their arms and quitting....?

This is sick!

Yes, and if I'm not mistaken, 1970 follows 1968, and so if something happened in 1970, that would follow President Nixon's election in 1968.

If these guys are so innocent, why did they confess? If there was police abuse I think that would have come out a long time ago.

I think they commited other crimes last night.

In your post #41 you seemed pretty certain of their innocence:

"Oh, justice is incarcerating the not guilty? Oh, I see.

Meanwhile for those of us not characterized by the self righteousness that you exhibit we KNOW that they gave confessions and were convicted by a jury for almost beating to death the jogger. The DNA disproves a rape charge. Well golly gee that makes them choir boys!

Let me help. Use this quote as if it were your own original thought: "The system works!"
