The most racist people in America, today, are Liberal Black people. We, (Conservatives), need to start calling them out on this at every opportunity, or our country will eventually become (more) Balkanized.

Walter E Williams, America's hearthrob who ocassionally sits in for Rush, says he dislikes the term "African-American" because it is vague. This would include the Arabs from the north and the whites in the south. I dislike the term because it is limited to only "Americans." We hosted a student from Jamaica (legally), black, not American by nationality. What about blacks from other countries?

"the same statements Martin Luther King, Jr. made in 1963 are now considered “racist”"

MLK dreamed of a day when a person would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Today, it is a hate crime to judge, character doesn't matter, and defining people by skin color is mandated by law.

Great post!

While we're refurbishing old stuff, I thought this 6-8-2001 Free Republic posting of a George Carlin article was appropriate, although I disagree with him on some topics the gist of his comments -- less political correctness and big government -- I believe are right on target.

George Carlin's "I'm a BAD American":

I Am Your Worst Nightmare. I am a BAD American. I am George Carlin.

I like big cars, big hooters, and big paychecks. I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid-level governmental functionary with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts squirting out babies.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, you'd better do it in English.

I'm not in touch with my feelings and I like it that way.

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer.

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches. And where does he get his money. And why is he always part of the problem and not the solution.

I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster. In fact, if your parents are footing the bill to put your pansy ass through 4-7 years of college, you haven't begun to be enlightened.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God or gods, just leave the rest of us out of it. This also applies to sexuality.

I believe it's called the Boy Scouts for a reason.

I don't think being a minority makes you noble or victimized.

I don't use the excuse "it's for the children" as a shield for unpopular opinions or actions.

I think fireworks should be legal on the 4th of July.

My heroes are John Wayne, the Simpsons and whoever canceled Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time arguing about it.

I think global warming is a big lie. Where are all those experts now, when I’m freezing my ass through a long winter?

I've never owned a slave, or was a slave, I didn't wander forty years in the desert after getting chased out of Egypt, I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you, so shut up already.

I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you're running from them. I also think they have the right to pull your ass over if you are breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation of the world for the next four years.

I think if you are in the passing lane, and not passing, your license should be revoked, and you should be forced to ride the bus until you promise to never delay the rest of us again.

I think beef jerky could quite possibly be the perfect food.

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement.

I think Dr. Seuss was a genius.

I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise.

If that makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

If you too are a BAD American please forward this to everyone you know.

We need our country back!

halleluliah for this article, written by an american I am so sick of the racism in our country where we have to distinguish ourselves by color and ethnicity. If a person has 10% black blood in america and 90% white blood, then they're still called 'black'. I hate the distinctions in the first place. One Nation Under God ... as George Washington wanted. That is my idea of america. Consider the following, Martin Luther King wrote a memo to Jesse Jackson a few months before MLK's death in which he strongly chastised jackson for supporting racial quotas. MLK said that that was the exact opposite of what he stood for. So MLK was a racist, according to modern sensibilities. George Washington freed all his slaves while on his death-bed in 1799. But he didn't just push them off his land as the black supremacists and liberals say he should've done. He left them a choice of staying or leaving. He required his family to spend money to bring tutors to his land to give free education to all the slaves he owned. Upon being freed only a very few of Washington's slaves left his plantation immediately. The large bulk chose to stay and to take advantage of the free education. The last slave left in 1833 at age 27, he wasn't even born when his parents were freed by Washington. He had the equivalent of a college degree. Washington didn't sell or trade any of his slaves his entire life because he disapproved of the slavery practice and preferred to take his god-given responsibility to use his resources wisely to provide shelter and protection to others seriously. Washington had 3 times as many slaves as he needed to work his land. He sacrificed a fortune by keeping those extra slaves and then freeing them and educating them. Yet George Washington is considered to be a racist on an official basis by the black supremacists and liberals in our country. Remember how the New Orleans school district required that his name be stricken from the schools named after him. As a nation we are facing racism on a large scale today. The racists are people like farrakhan, jackson, al gore, and everyone who supports the racists measures that we use today in so many organizations and systems to divide our people up according to race. Even George Bush supports affirmative action in a manner that is racist. When MLK is a racist, then it is easy to conclude that we live in an atmosphere of racism today.

This article is very appropriate for the situation we are in now with Lott. This proves that race as a concept is inadequate and arbitrary. People should take pride in being individuals not what color of skin they have. Great post!

I like the way he points out that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the other goofs trotted out as 'Black Leaders' are leaders because the (white??) presstitutes CALL THEM leaders...

Who made those buffoons speakers for all blacks?

For that matter, why is N.O.W. carted out to be spokesmen (spokeswomen??) for all women?
