December 17, 2002 -- Religious tensions erupted yesterday after authorities confirmed that an Arab girl beat up a Jewish girl at a Brooklyn middle school.
The Arab teen was arrested and suspended for the Dec. 12 attack on the 13-year-old Jewish girl, an honors student, at IS 259 in Dycker Heights, sources said.

That part of Brooklyn, Dyker Hts, Bay Ridge, Ft. Hamilton has had a growing mid-East population for a few generations. They're mostly Lebanese but newer families are Yemeni with some Palis. Bottom line...some of them are second and even third generation.

Chanting "jew jew jew" and then beating someone's face in, is in no way justifiable under your flawgic.
And equating the Pali's reactions with the American Revolution is also flawgic.
The Pali's have no just cause for murder.
Now you're waffling.

Oh bloody hell, for the Nth time, I am describing the situation as the Palestinian sees it.

Yes, they probably would have tossed a few rocks at her.
And trying to ascribe western thought and ideas to markedly eastern cultures doesn't work.
(That's what the press tried to do with the terrorists, then that reporter got killed. the press couldn't figure it out. They're STILL trying to ascribe western thought to eastern cultures.)
And quite a few people are trying it here. Won't work.
They don't have the same values (some would argue lack of in certain respects) as we do.

Oh bloody hell, you bring up Jenin as a comparison and justification for the beating up of this girl in an NewYorkCitySchool and bring in the whole Pali issue into this.
You don't even know where these Arabs are from...
Why do you automatically try and connect it to the Pali, something about which you say you don't care about.

Bring back death by crucifixion!

D'Amato's history is shamelessly self serving and borderline criminal. The taxpayers of NY have paid for his enrichment schemes for years. Check out his involvement with Margiotta or the Luchese family, or Basile or Wedtech, or the treatment plant or the courthouse or Asaro, or HUD scams or Unisys....get the pattern....
New Yorkers know who Alphonse was....a disgrace.

Didn't sound like it.
Sounded more like apologetics for the murderous idiots.
And anyone who feel so opressed by teenage girls that they feel they must blow them up is a moron.
To: swarthyguy
When did I say they were justified in beating up the girl? Let's get this on record, OK...
Beating up the girl was a bad thing.
...what does Arab/Jew have to do with this beating being a bad thing. NOTHING! A beating is a bad thing. Period.

Whatever.

Back to the same old.....
Arab girl beats up Jewish girl.
The ehtnic components are what makes this a news story.
If these arabs girls had beaten up another arab, it wouldn't.
To: Darksheare
Don't know if i go as far as you in the whole 'eastern' culutures thing. Many cultures east of araby have adapted very well to western civ but that's another topic and discussion...
But your point in how Pearl went to Pakistan to give the jihadis a prestigious soapbox is very well taken. In his mind, how could anybody pass up the chance to be featured in the WSJ.
Not eastern as much as the jihadi culture, and in the case of this NYC incident, the result of constant propagandising about the evil jews in mosques, homes and community centers.

He just sent me a link to a Amazon about Hitler's willing executioners, Nazism and the roots of Anti-semitism. What this has to do about a Jewish Girl getting harassed and beaten up by someone in Brooklyn who is of arab Descent is beyond me.
I suppose that he's trying to make a correlation between the ordinary folk in that time period becoming Nazi's, and us venting our fustration at this kind of behavior going on in our society today. I'm NOT anti-anything, at all, unless that anything, in this case the more radical elements of Islam, has something against me.
Anyway it looks like a good read. I'll probably get it. But I agree with you I think he's a slightly revisionist historian.

Well maybe we have to grant that they think like him.

"...people are good and bad on an individual basis."
True..but false beliefs and ideologies(the ROP and Communism, for instance) have no redeeming qualities, and ought not be respected by decent humans anywhere.
When the ROP starts losing millions of Arab adherents, I'll have a new-found respect for Arabs.
Until that happy day...eff 'em! ;^)

I'm still trying to understand where he's getting his Nazi angle myself.
Anything you come up with, I'd be interested to hear.

8AAAH!* That's a possibility.
