"Intellectual dishonesty" is a phrase I tend to use a lot in writing about the liberal left. And both have been running amok since Dec. 5.
That's the day a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals

Try a 5 shot 45-70 revolver with a 10" barrel. One of my favorite toys. It shoots a 300 gr bullet at 1450 fps. It will handle 405 grain and 500 grain.

Oh, by the way, one of the 9th Circuit's "scholarly" citations comes from former Chief Justice Warren Burger in which he labels as "a fraud, I repeat the word 'fraud,'" the traditional view that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right. If I remember correctly,Burger was the Supreme Court Justice who once answered his door at night with a cocked 1873 Colt "Peacemaker" revolver pointed at the reporter knocking on the door. A UNREGISTERED and illegal to own in DC handgun. The reporter was there to ask Burger his opinion on a recently passed DC gun law. For some strange unknown reason, there is no record of the DC police ever arrested Burger on gun charges.

I think it's past time to cut the 9th Circuit into three parts, with the current 9th Circuit getting Berkeley, Hollywood and the area directly in-between. The remainder of the current 9th Circuit could be divided between the two new Circuits -- to be filled with Bush nominees.

Thats not a 45-70 in the picture cly is way to short brass is not 47-70 brass.
To: riverrunner
I didn't notice that. you're correct. The picture of the BFR is chambered in .480 Ruger.
To: riverrunner
The BFR is made in multiple calibers. Mine is a 45-70. The barrel is 10 inches. The cylinder is extra long to accomodate the 500 gr bullets. The first year production of the 45-70 model could only accomodate up to 405 gr. This pic has the right cylinder, but it only a 7.5" barrel.
