Hendrix! Hendrix! Hendrix! Hendrix!

One of my favorites.

How about Axis Bold as Love or maybe Castles Made of Sand?

I'm lovin' this stuff!

That's cool, but yer differences in opinion over a women's right to slaughter her unborn child needn't make y'all adversaries necessarily

The conversation was amicable. I just find it interesting to see where Republicans fall on this issue.
I believe that social/moral issues are as tantamount to our nation's well being as a strong defense and tax cuts are.

"At the start of the 106th Congress, Virginia had six Democrats and five Republicans in the House, and the Senate delegation was split. Today, there are three Democrats and eight Republicans representing Virginia in the House; both Senators are Republicans. The GOP could expand its majority further when one of the current Democratic seats becomes vacant. Rep. Rick Boucher's (D) 9th district is the seat Republicans pinpoint as their best pickup opportunity. "Of the [Democratic] seats that are out there, it is the seat that is the most inherently Republican," said Aaron Lebowitz, executive director of the Republican Party of Virginia."

VA FReepers...rejoice in our past victories and gear up fer our relentless march to the Right...the RATS are DEAD, let's commence with the burial!!

You and me both...but SocialMorality cannot be imposed via the Federal Leviathan and yet another layer of Laws that are only enforced arbitrarily!!

States and Localities are much more likely to achieve success within the realm of Social/Moral Issues, IMHO...so we need to overturn Roe Vs. Wade and let the states decide the Abortion Issue legislatively instead of judicially!!

Interesting read (thanks for the freepmail).

I grew up in the 9th, would love to see Boucher go. That district would never elect him if he was honest about his...um....preferences....

"...would love to see Boucher go. That district would never elect him if he was honest"

I'm seriously toying with going after Bobby Scott's seat as the Libertarian candidate...problem is I'm no longer a resident in his district, but I own a half-dozen rental properties in Scott's district, so I think I can finagle eligibility...wouldn't that be a HOOt?!

"Limbaugh Lowered the Boom!!"
(To be bellowed to the IrishFolkSong, "Clancy Lowered the Boom!!")

Yes, Mudboy was a peaceful man...
As he stalked the Lib'ral Scene.
The cops arrested the Peace-niks...
After Mudboy whupped the Greens!!
He never looked for trouble
That's a fact you can assume,
But never-the-less when Lib'rals would bi+c#...
Mudboy lowered the boom!!

Chorus:
Oh, that Limbaugh...Oh that Mudboy...
Whenever RATS got Slim's Irish up,
Mudboy bellowed a tune!

Slick Willie is a gutless man,
Lib'rals thought Bill was tough,
He strutted 'round the HarlemHood...
A-shootin' off his pud!!
Slick picked a fight with Mudboy,
Then and there Slick sealed RATS' Doom...
Before Left could shout "Slick Willie, look out!!"
Mudboy lowered the boom!!

Chorus:
All Hail JimRob...Go El Rushbo!!
Whenever RATS got Right's Irish up,
Limbaugh lowered the boom!!

"PUNK" McAuliffe wuz Prez'dent of Vice...
To Misses Clancy's flat,
He'd always linger for a while,
To talk of this and that,
One day he kissed her,
Just as Clancy walked into the room,
Before you could say the time of day,
Clancy lowered the boom!

Chorus:
YO, RATS, Fear MUD...Fear MUD's Justice!!
Whenever Slick got Slim's Irish up,
Mudboy lowered the boom!

BWAHAHAHAHA...MUD

I FReeped "Castles Made of Sand" fer the first cassette I ever released 5-6 years ago, so it's just a matter of tracking down the new, improved lyrics, but I will do Jimi Hendrix' "Bold As Love" ASAP!!

Mud, Any room in your band for this Irish gal?
She's also a pretty decent singer too.

Ye don't know much about singing if you think Andrea Corr is 'pretty decent' as a vocalist.

Well, she is a stunningly beautiful girl (there is no doubt about that). A pretty talented actress. Vocally she's barely 'reasonable'. She needs to get off the drugs she's taking quite frankly.

Didn't some white-supremicist, neo-Nazi, white-laced-Doc Martin-wearing buffoon hit him in the snozz with a chair during the taping of an episode of his former TV talk show??

Yes sir--that's exactly the way it happened. I will never forget how gleeful I was over the incident--I'm bad!!

Well, there will be no time for drugs. If she joins up with Mudboy & The Slims, between her vocal tracks she will be in the kitchen learnin' how to prepare grits and cornbread.

And from the sound of things, it may not be a bad idea for Miss Corr to learn the Brownie Pledge from Mud's little girl.
