I don't think we'll know the full extent of the Clinton administration's crimes for some time.

The thing that bothers me the most is that this SOB sold us(and the office he held) out in so many ways, yet is still worshipped by the left as a god-like figure in politics.

We on the right have to keep the pedal to the metal to prevent this from EVER happening again. It starts, I believe, with the education system. It must be taken back from the liberal, Marxist, Socialist weenies that currently run it. Man, I could go on forever about this. It's that disturbing.

Yes, it must. But most of us conservatives do not want to become teachers, nor do we encourage our kids to go into teaching. So, we have left this field wide open to the left and they have filled the vacuum.

I have been teaching music and guitar for 15 years privately. I recently inquired about finishing up the few credits I need to teach in public school. The current situation has me so incensed that I'm seriously considering taking the necessary courses that I may teach American history or a related subject. The salary be damned, it's hard to win the hearts and minds of the young with jazz and rock and roll!

My aspirations toward the "big time" have long since taken a back seat to the necessity of making a real living.

Gotta disagree with y'all to a point here. As you may or may not know, my mom's a teacher and each of my three younger brothers married teachers and one of my best high school buddies teaches high school History and Government while coaching baseball and golf. Each of these folks can be accurately described as conservative and each has told me that there are a lotta conservatives in the teaching ranks...but the Teacher's Unions are 100% controlled by Leftist Scumbag Bastards who march to the Socialist DemonRATS' tune!!

Disempower the Teacher's Unions and the Left's hold on the K-12 Education will Die the Death it so richly deserves!!

RE post #416 - There are a lot of teachers right here on FR, in K-12 public schools, private schools, and also on the higher ed level. Not all teachers are on the same page politically. Dems are not really interested in rank and file teachers. In fact, NOT a very large percentage teachers actually vote DEM, as RC found out in a recent article she posted.
