RE post #416 - There are a lot of teachers right here on FR, in K-12 public schools, private schools, and also on the higher ed level. Not all teachers are on the same page politically. Dems are not really interested in rank and file teachers. In fact, NOT a very large percentage teachers actually vote DEM, as RC found out in a recent article she posted.

Yep, that's my point. Although the Union Leadership is 100% RAT, the teachers themselves span the political spectrum and promoting conservatism within their ranks has got to be one of the Right's priorities, IMHO.
