Are there any SD freepers out there who can explain Barnett? Is he on "our" side or not?

I'm for Red Earth on this one, hopefully she'll start naming names of who told her to 'get the vote'

We've begun to wonder too. The guy has a reputation as a very solid conservative, but he's drug his feet thru this whole episode. He lost a primary election last spring in the Governor's race, and I've begun to wonder if he's not so bitter about his loss that he's decided to stick it tto the GOP.

Ahhh ... the old "tu quoque" defense rear's its head.
You go girl!
Let's hear ALL about what Puff and Jr. and McAwful did in the last election.

It sounds to me like he's in someone's pocket...and it ain't the GOP. Dascle has to be involved somewhere up the food chain.

I think any time a precinct turns in a 90% vote that there has been election fraud. I'm sure that as all the poles are being closed, any registered voter that has not shown up has some pole worker mark a ballot for them, "As they would have wanted to vote if they were there." How many times have we heard a Democrat politico say, "Do whatever it takes to win." They say they mean get out the vote. I don't doubt it's a lot more.

Mr. Thume is looking ahead to 2004 when he can run against Tommie Daschle.... Maybe that is the plan....This way he will not alienate some possible voters....bobg...

Baqrnett has studiously and earnestly been fighting to ONLY look at this ONE woman, and refuses (even in his comments to the press) to want ANYBODY to even say or imply "massive vote fraud."
Judge him by his actions: he doesn't WANT to find any actual vote fraud, and WANTS this investigation to find ONLY the one person guilty of registration "improprieties." (He hasn't even accused anybody (in public) of actual "crimes" yet!)
