Oh, jelly, now I'm in the Christmas spirit!!!!!!!!

Here is one of our very first reviews posted on another thread:

I’ve been on the earth for a while, but I’ve seen it all now. Today Carlo was gracious enough to come by our monthly chapter meeting with a box full of books. Twenty minutes after arriving home and reading this book, I had to stop reading it due to a splitting headache, and a severe pain in my sides from the laughter. This is one you do not want to miss. BTW it is chock full of great recipes. Carlo my man, you need to make Rush, Hannity, Hume, et al aware of your little tome. This rates right up there with Paul Shanklin’s parodies. Best twenty bucks I’ve ever spent!

Thanks so much dix, from those of us who've worked so hard to bring this little gem to life. Your words make it all worthwhile.

WD-40 also removes crayon from walls, don't forget that one. My son-in-law came up with this stroke of genius!

Does it leave a stain?

It can also be used to remove gum residue. Goo Gone works and smells better, but in a pinch WD-40 will do.

Can you smell the cookies baking, savor the warm bread just out of the oven, and don't forget the fresh pasta . . .

Well, not in our good friend Carlo's house today . . . he's up to his elbows in packing tape and his fingers are numb from signing all those books. Yes indeed, the books are being packed up today. Yahoooooooooooo!

Thanks Carlo, you are going to bring a lot of smiles this Christmas. Just hope they don't laugh too hard on a full stomach.

,,, good morning New York! Thanx for BUMPing this thread to me. I'm making sure my wife gets it too. No doubt she'll have something to add. Here in NZ it's summer and there will be more salads in Decemeber than you can imagine.

Hope all is going well for you and that your Christmas is a reeeeeeee-al goodie.

Well, N.Z., it's winter here in New York and we have less than 3 hours before we will learn if the New York City transit system is to go on strike. Should it happen, it will throw the city into chaos even though there are contingency plans. I will have to take a ferry. There are supposed to be shuttle buses to take to the ferry dock, but I have no idea how often they run. At any rate, I'm hoping this doesn't happen.
Hope you and Mrs. Shaggy Eel got to read about the cookbook. It't supposed to be chock full of recipes, jokes, political innuendo and cartoons. My daughter contributed the cartoon "USDA Rod-ham" which is somewhere on that thread. Carlo3b, our resident chef from Houston, Texas has several hundred copies just back from the printer and he will up all night signing them and packing them for shipment.
Well, must run... have many things to do before getting to bed. Will talk soon. Take care.
