"It is almost a certainty that, in the coming months, Americans will face another attempted terrorist assault; an assault that could quite possibly be on the same scale as that of September the 11th, 2001..."Just like it was before 9/11/01. The only difference is that in the past there were Soviets around ruthless enough to crush any such groups in their infancy, with extreme prejudice and without worry about what names the UN, Democrats, and Amnesty International would call them afterwards.

Let me reword this for the Congressman.
We're not going to bring access to this nation under control. Anyone can come here who wants to and we're perfectly willing to allow the destruction of men women and children of our own society to further that policy.
Through caos we gain ultimate control. Control is good. Freedom is bad. Terrorists thus become my and other public officials allies in the quest for complete and utter control of the American populace.
Rest assured, we are doing our best for the American public.

I'm starting to think that we may not actually see the kind of horrific attack (comparable or worse to 9/11) that we have been warned about for over a year now. Will something else happen? Most likely yes...but perhaps on a lower level, such as suicide bombings, or only directed at overseas targets. We may be giving them more credit than they deserve...why hasn't anything happened since 9/11? Was September 11th simply an anomaly...a lucky one-off? If we ever get around to attacking Iraq and nothing happens in the immediate aftermath, then it would seem the danger may not be so imminent after all. Does that mean it could never or will never happen again? Certainly not...but the doomsday predictions seem to be getting a little stale.

"It is almost a certainty that, in the coming months, Americans will face another attempted terrorist assault; an assault that could quite possibly be on the same scale as that of September the 11th, 2001," Sen. Bob Graham (D-Fla.). "It is a certainty that such an attack will be attempted," Graham continued. "The question is whether we'll do a better job of intercepting it before it kills more people than we did prior to September the 11th." Ummmm ... Senator .. we already know this .. got anything else to report

I wish our public servants would start investigating the strange behaviour of the sun. Is it going to rise in the East tomorrow or not or rise somewhere else?

Whata waste. I could have told them this for free. Somehow the Hollywood ninnies who signed the anti-war letter need to read this report since its not obvious to them either.

Graham is as useless an idiot as Byrd and Lott.
You think Al Qaeda may actually TRY to attack us, Bob? Hold the presses.

I BET Congress ignores their role in the Intelligence MESS THEY created!
Congress exerted political pressure on ALL Law Enforcement Agencies to stay away from religious investigations - even if they were an OBVIOUS SHAM; Congress, for years, failed to approriate funds for computers for INS - their solution was to make ILLEGALS citizens; the FBI has been screwing up for years - remember Ames and the other CIA agents the FBI was supposed to feret out AND DIDN"T - now their PR shows them arresting the turncoats; Congress had the CIA pull in field agents and to rely on computers (you idiot Congressmen - Garbage in Garbage out - remember that on computers.)

The report was introduced with a somber warning from the co-chairman of the Joint House-Senate Intelligence Committee probe. "Wolf Wolf," they said for about the five hundredth time. Of course, if they keep saying it, eventually it will be right, and no one will think to ask, "hey, if you knew it was comin' why didn't you stop it?"

In other news, Sen. Bob Graham and the Canadians have officially discovered that al-Qaeda may produce more manure, but it may not stink as much as the first time. (see Canada recognizes Hezbollah thread :) )

They spent HOW much money to determine that terrorists will attack us again??
I WANT A TAX BREAK DAMMIT.
