You should read what Schippers said about him after the impeachment hearing. Lott refused to let the house managers present their case and call the right witnesses. He conspired with the Democratic Senators to squelch the whole trial.

Lott said something to the effect, "I don't care if we had witnesses that said he murdred someone on the White House Lawn - there still wouldn't be enough votes to impeach him."

Maybe so, but at least the American Public would get to see
the evidence and expose those lying corrupt Senators who would vote against impeachment....

Indeed, I read Schippers' book, and he was pretty bitter about Lott.

Much as it was necessary for Ford to pardon Richard Nixon, Lott was right to curtail the impeachment hearing. The country was being torn to shreds, and absolutely nothing would have been accomplished. EVERYONE knows all there is to know about the rapist pig who was our commander in chief but the media made sure that the spin was always in his favor.

Once again, I see sheeple allowing themselves to be manipulated by the media. They can kiss off for all I care, Lott should stay and no media frenzy is going to make me change my mind.

Too bad he'll be remembered more as an idiot who had no common sense and was run out on a rail by these type of events than his being a traitor...
