Can somebody confirm/deny?

Not exactly- what I know is from pre-web days, and based on talk radio... sometimes called "the poor man's internet."

There was a lot of discussion about how our nuclear secrets were put on an unsecure server where anyone who knew what to look for could get them.

There was discussion about our "Legacy Codes"- what you need to design, test, and maintain all the warheads in our arsenal- getting out & maybe going to Cuba and North Korea.

There was discussion about how all our satellite codes went from the Defense Department to the Commerce Department- then vanished.

But note well, this was before 1999, and Israel was not mentioned.
