Sheesh!! I better go back to bed. I really am an educated woman you know. You one thing that drives me nuts? They even do it on TV but it's wrong. That is: something FOR FREE. It isn't for free, it's FREE. LOL

BAL 000677 As they used to say in Boston, vote early and often. But then, Boston is an historically Dem town, so I guess they've had lots of experience in this. Not to mention VWD (Voting While Dead).

Sheesh! There is no such thing as a "for" free lunch. LOL
To: livius

Amen!

Don't fret it. (You're right about "for free", although I never thought about that). Anyway, I usually wouldn't mention such errors on a message board, as overall grammar tends to be more lax. But I just couldn't let it stand that Democrats were acting conscientiously!

The reporter at Landrieu's camp was Major Garrett. Former CNN reporter.

Chris John is in Washington today despite Lake Charles. In '96, John beat Hunter Lundy(an uber-liberal trial lawyer who squeaked by a GOP candidate in the primary by 13 votes, IIRC) in the runoff. Lundy is from Lake Charles, and a heavy turnout there got him into the runoff. In the end, a good number of Pubbies(myself included) voted for the lesser of the two evils. Since then, John has had only token opposition(the GOP hasn't even bothered to field a candidate the last two cycles). He's not a bad Congressman, for a RAT, and is a reliable defender of the 2nd Amendment.

Would you please get FReepers using "alot" to cease? I'm with you but my prediction is that alot will show up in the dictionary in the near future. It may already be there right next to youknow.

Everyone knows WWL-TV is nothing than a liberal propaganda outlet.
