Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!

Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

Just checked the LA weather. It's going down to 26 degrees Farenheit tonight. Hopefully, that'll get the Dems to stay home, and the hunters to end early, and vote on the way home.

It's one thing when the blackjacked voter votes once, it's quite another, when they're taken to multiple stops.

As for 5% Democrat fraud; I think there's a whole lotta scrutiny goin' here, too much for that. (Look who's Attorney General --and what happened to him in MO.) This may be what has demoralized some of the Democrat Regulars in Fluer-de-lis land.

Do you know the Preacher from Baton Rouge David Diamond??? He comes to my church in Kelowna, B.C. EVERY year. We absolsutely love him and believe you me, he and his congregation will be influencing some votes. He and a team are on the streets preaching to the down and out every Friday night for years now. And there will be no splitting hairs on Abortion with DD and his congregation!! I'm just not sure what part of Baton Rouge he is in.

Nice find. I was looking for some data on that myself. My homestate across the river has a sizable Indian population as well....Choctaw and Chickasaw...as well as some Creek remnants and obscure tribes on the coast.

surely to God the Republicans are NOT going to let that happen twice. They MUST be monitoring the polling stations to stop this crap. After all, Landrieu never won her seat fair and square the FIRST time. Time for Republicans to stand up and say NO MORE CHEATING! Not in my face.

Sidebar comment on the Ralph Reed connection. He said in an interview that one issue which helped the Republicans pull off their upset in Georgia was the position of the Democrats on the "Save the Scouts" clause in the education bill. Most Dems voted against it. (It forbade any school district receiving federal funds -- which is 99.44% of them -- from barring the Scouts from school property.)

Scouting is a big deal in Georgia. It is also a big deal in Louisiana. And Landrieu was also on the wrong side of this issue. This is a tiny subject in the larger scheme of things, but this sort of negative can be dispositive in a tight race.

"knock and drag" is a legitimate get-out-the-vote strategy,

O contraire! It very much ceases to be legitimate the second that fifty dollar bill hits their hand. So is voting under an assumed identity in one place and going to vote again in another place.

If it were clean registered voters being urged to do their civic duty and being provided transportation to do it, you'd be right. But leave it to a RAT to soil everything it touches.

Could I ask for a little elaboration? Where, exactly is my scenario flawed?

St. Tammany is the only majority Republican parish in Louisiana. Jefferson is more conservative than most of the state too, but it's RINO Parish President Tim "Asshole" Coulon has endorsed Landrieu. The whole Florida Parishes is abnormally conservative for the state.

Good point. I stand corrected. Although maybe we should call it "knock and bribe", "knock and cheat", or "knock, drag, vote, change your name, and vote again".

In our NJ town, a dem and a repub poll watcher checks off the names of each voter......about mid afternoon, the phone calls are made to those who haven' voted yet, with an offer of a ride to the poll if needed.

"Obviously, that glorifed community college (UNO) set against that big stink of a lake doesn't get a mention."

That glorified community college just had the late great Stephen Ambrose as the head of its History Department. Also, Tim Ryan, the head of the business school isn't too bad either.
