Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!

Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

You are right on target. This defeat will be magnified many, many times in the coming days. Economic news could soon trump Saddam Hussein.

Fletcher's ads tried hard to link Alexander with Pelosi, Rangel, and a couple of other of the usual suspects. Apparently it didn't work.

Yes, Fletcher lost, too but it is so close that it is an automatic recount.

Bush = Idiot. He should've waited until Saturday night to fire O'Neil. In fact, he shouldn't have appointed him in the first place! The guy has opposed every tax cut ever proposed.

I'm sorry.....mostly because the media will proclaim this a defeat of Bush's 11-05 semi-mandate.

Exactly...CNN anchor just said that 'this is a big night for democRATs!'......GRRRRRR!!!

This vote by the black voters may be the last vestige of the Solid South so with that said here is the challenge of the future! In the national election it was the lack of this vote that won the day for Conservatives so does this tell you anything? This is a tenuious victory at best and no time to chirp! Time to get busy and get organized. In the common vernacular guys "This Is a Wake-up Call" Whistleing Dixie does not cut it!

Anyone going to be able to watch any news show today or tomorrow after this including FOX?

That's going to be a miserable experience.

Yes she did, and she didn't have to pull an Al Gore by re-inventing herself like Landreau did. After all, It was Landreau's support of President Bush that won her this election

It is a big night for Rats. However, they may end up thinking their move to the left is what helped them. I hope so.

It looks like Landrieu won by 3%, just a tad less than the individual parish trend. I knew there was big trouble as soon as I saw Evangeline.

False analogy. Terrell didn't enter a beauty contest.

Even granting you your debating point (touche!), is my comment about Miss Australia pro- or anti-Semitic?

I'm sorry .. but the last I heard the Republicans still had control of ALL the houses..

As for the talk of those Rino's jumping party .. it would be the DUMBEST thing they could ever do .. they might as well kiss their political career Good-Bye

And if they think I'm wrong .. Just go ask Jeffords .. if I recall .. he even lost his committe seat ..
