Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

Great--if Landrieu had to win, I wish now that it had happened in November and we'd be done with it. Now we have to listen to the interminable rattle of Clinton, Rodham Clinton, and Dasshole and how the reports of the DNC demise were greatly exaggerated, etc., etc., etc., blah, blah, blah.
And Landrieu was such a lying *itch on Russert and the people of Louisiana still voted her in. What dummies.
My husband and I were thinking of retiring there...guess we'll just have to look elsewhere. I would hate to live in a place knowing that she was my best representation in Washington.

I feel just like I did in 98. I really thought we would win both of these races today.
This is a major disappointment.

Breaux is a liberal in sheep's clothing. I don't know why anyone thinks he's really pro-life. He voted against Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas. I'll bet the farm that he'll vote against Bush's Supreme Court nominee, too.

It is possible a later Dubya visit wuld have helped. But with those two issues, unlikely. Bush perhaps should have instead waited to sack O'Neill until Sat night. How can you say that? All the Bushbots say that Rove and Bush are not only politically omniscient, but infallible, as well? (end sarcasm.)
Bush has one self-inflicted .45-caliber-sized hole in his right foot right now.

Is Jefferson Parish Repulican or DemoRat?
To: sinkspur
I said it was silly. Whatever was said by those in this forum: "Arab or Butt-Ugly or Racist or whatever." It's all just stupid name-calling and labeling.

Is Al Gore hosting SNL tonight or next week? I could use a laugh! :)

If I say that Miss Australia is one bodacious looking Lebanese-Australian, am I making a "Pro-Semitic" remark or and an anti-Semitic remark?False analogy. Terrell didn't enter a beauty contest.
Anybody on the east coast watch the movie on HBO tonight Live From Baghdad about CNN reporters in Iraq?

These precincts remaining could not possibly reverse the current standings, as I see it. The GOP once again fell short in LA: that is the norm, not the exception. LA has not defeated a sitting senator in 72 years -- about the span of Halley's Comet. In fact, LA's Democrat Senate hold has surpassed two appearances of Halley's Comet. LA will never change.

I don't know.Somebody said that per Fox they had been.
To: Darlin'
Oh God, I just got in. This is so depressing. How can a state that shows a 73% approval rating of President Bush go for Landrieu. I swear you schizophrenic states are really hard to understand! LOL!
To: GOPcapitalist
Thanks for the update on the precincts to come. I just tried the Secy. of State's site and the precincts that used to say 0 reporting are now no longer on the list, wonder what gives?
Fox is talking like this is over (Barnes & Barone). Is there hope in the remaining precincts?
To: FF578
We've lost this one, haven't we?
To: Darlin'
Fox news has Jefferson votes in their total--giving Landreau the 17K lead. Don't know why the SoS site doesn't have them up yet.
To: FF578
17,000 is too much to make up with 97% in.
I can't stand how big cities can hold an entire state hostage.
Pennsylvania for example would NEVER go DemonRat if Filthadelphia was wiped away.
I can't stand how these idiots in the south pull the RAT lever because "Rats iz for da workin man"
Never mind rats are baby-killing, gun grabbing, sodomite lovers.

FOX said absentees are already counted. (Military votes comming in would be kewl.) Thanks, concerned. I do wonder about the military votes....if they're in with the other absentees.....
