Unfortunately, looks like I was right to call LA-05 a good pickup opportunity for the Dems. But even I didn't expect to have this much trouble with it after Nov. 5. I would say losing that one and Landrieu winning would make this a very bad day for the GOP.

It's easy to say "our parishes" and "their parishes", but if their parish goes 80-20 for them and ours go 60-40 for us they aren't comparable. Half of Orleans out means 50,000 votes for the Dems. "Our parishes" probably can't make up that difference.

17 years or months? I've found that a lot of us have been improperly taught - need to use all 3 methods in conjunction (temperature, mucous strechiness/color, and cervix check). For our 1st and soon-to-be 3rd, we can mark the day, as we knew the possible outcome ahead of time.
