Oops, I meant "while we're all waiting". I'd better go meditate.

No need to correct yourself. Alot of us make unintended keyboard stroke or spelling errors.
The point being...we knew what ya really meant.

Now, Zen...let's regale in the fact that we're about to get our 52nd Senator. And she is the Real McCoy!

Union Parish has not reported yet, and that SHOULD go fairly big for Lee Fletcher. Perhaps big enough to put him over the top.

Yes, and I have NEVER forgiven her for gushing that Gore won the Supreme Court decision!

Around our house we call her "Supreme Court Rita".

Landrieu may win with the help of the dead. If Terrell pulls this out, it will be with the help of the saints to be sure.

Bernadette, Siobhan's sister

P.S. Rita Cosby is unwatchable.

Also Fletcher was running a non-LA type of campaign, whereas Alexander went to all the little towns and hamlets and sealed up the "courthouse" vote and the votes of the poor and dispossessed. Fletcher never understood the high rate of poverty in NE LA. I was never sure if Fletcher alienated Holloway, or if Holloway was a sore loser. If Alexander wins, and I think he can, Holloway will surely try again in 2004, don't you think. Holloway has been bitten by the political bug for over 20 years.

Louisiana is known for dirty politics. But this is widespread, the trends here, and I don't think we can yell cheaters yet. I mean she couldn't have cheated all over the state for crying out loud. Landrieu is an incumbent and Terrell is doing extremely well. But Louisiana's demographics favor Landrieu {note to conservobabe,,that is not a racist statement}. Louisana is poor and has a big black population,,that favors Landrieu {that is not racist either, just reality}..nevertheless this is disappointing. but I kept saying people were getting turned off by Terrell. Just kept hearing it.

No. If we win, it is a huge win. If we lose, it was to an incumbent in a traditionally democrat state.

I can't do anything about the results, although I am interested and hope Terrell wins.

The polls showed this race in a dead heat and that is how I expect the election to end up. It could be decided by fewer than 500 votes.

Livingston is the only place I know of where Terrell is not below the threashold. Of course, none of this accounts for the relative turnout across the state.

It looks that bad. Landrieux is out-performing her 11/5 numbers almost across the board. We may have to "settle" for a two seat pick-up.
