Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

does anyone know where the results of nov. 5 election can be found?

post who is ahead if you're posting
To: Mo1
Thanks Mo!! Cheer me up!!
To: Theodore R.
Fletcher screwed up bigtime in alienating Holloway, and in trying to make an issue of Alexander's nonpayment of taxes on a business he owned. Turns out Fletcher also has a tax problem, having a lien filed against him for nonpayment of unemployment taxes on his campaign workers.
Two huge goofs from a guy who's a political consultant and former Congressional staffer. He should have known better.

Certainly did. Also noticed the Hitlery Gestapo pin on Landrieu.

Evangeline was only 177 votes...

Yes, and I have NEVER forgiven her for gushing that Gore won the Supreme Court decision!
Some of the cameeramen don't like her either, because they take wide shots which show how very fat her thighs are. Ha!

A minus 7% swing in Terrebone. Terrell can afford only a minus 3% swing overall vis a vis the Bush percentages.

Right here biting my nails with the rest of you. Predictions are predictions. Votes are votes. Certain bosses can produce what they need to produce: this is not a state known for clean politics.
To: Miss Marple
Well, are you unnerved yet?

51-49, 2,221 of 3,912 precincts reporting (57%)
To: Tennessean4Bush
Channel 4 - NO says
72% reporting 50/50 with about 4,000 vote lead to Terrell and each has about 400,00 votes
To: Torie
Please tell me that Alexander cannot win.
Fox News coverage was unbelievably bad. Either Landrieu was running a deliberate effort to make it seem like she would lose, or Major Garrett and Carl Cameron are completely incompetent. That goes for almost everybody else who said anything else about this race, and predicted a Terrell victory as all but certain, with no obvious reason for doing so.
To: IMRight
I hope Bush signs whatever sugar deals he has before him if Terrell loses. Then he can just say to the state, "Well you sent me the wrong Senator. Send one that is on speaking terms with me."
To: Howlin
If you're making a list, I've got my eye on one of those HDTV's.
To: FF578
Where are you getting your info from? Just curious.
To: GoMonster
I think www.realclearpolitics.com has 11-5-02 results.

U. S. Senator 2,225 of 3,912 precincts reporting
297,366 49% Mary Landrieu -
314,560 51% Suzanne Haik Terrell
17,000 votes isn't enough with NO still out.

I notice that FReepers tend to be a little pessimistic, but I'm afraid I agree that Terrell does not have a big enough lead.
To: Mudbug
Wait, make that a Landrieu lead, so NO votes must be coming in.
