UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- On the eve of Iraq's official declaration on weapons of mass destruction, the United Nations Friday announced the document will not be given to the U.N. Security Council -- which demanded the declaration -- until weapons inspectors have examined it and possibly even edited out parts.

We're all surprised that this could happen. < /sarcasm >

The WH is surprised? This just validates and shows the world what we already know. The UN is irrelevant and is trying to cover up for Iraqi weaponry. We couldn't care less what they declare or not---we already know what they have.

It's starting to become clear who Mr. Hans Blix is protecting and his concerns don't include the West.

As far as I am concerned, if the UN renigs on the deal, all bets are off, and the US if free to do what it wants when it wants.

It would take more time and "a body of obstructionism" from Iraq...
Laughable.

Yeah, no kidding. The WH is "blindsided" but the Security Council agreed to the procedure? As if the Security Council can agree to anything without the involvement of the White House. What a load!

If the rest of the world's opinion is dropping regarding the U.S., one need look no further than CNN as it spews the slanted news around the world, to garner advertising favor from the Islamic states and sympathizers. I just wish that the owner of CNN would go live in some other nation, to put his feet where his black heart is instead of amongst the home of the brave he uses to gain wealth.

It will take time to translate and analyze the long, complex report, he said. Of course it will be translated on to paper, including typo's and spelling errors that can't be OCR scanned.

It is really about time to fish or cut bait. The USA is not beholden to the impotent UN. It's first and primary duty is protection of American citizens. If there is no case for protective measures, then so be it. If there is, then get to it.

CNN has no more in a this White House than you and I had during the Clintoonian years.
CNN is so out of orbit, their closest contact with the white house is station on Uranus.
This is in the same class of news as Woodward knowing what Ms Rice was thinking as she watched tv and Woodwards was miles away.
