Sorry for the delayed reply -- had to make the kids' lunch

I don't agree with you that terrorism works (can you name an example for me ??) -- terrorism is simply terrorism and it must be defeated -- it is never righteous and should never be allowed victory

A Palestinian terrorist leader being targeteed is not the same thing as someone shooting up a Bar Mitzvah party -- if such a leader surrounds himself with civilians (like the one who was in a headquarters that also had civilian apartments) -- then those deaths are on his head -- it was his choice to make bombs, engage in terrorist activities, and set himself up as a target -- hiding among civilians and behind children throwing stones is wrong

DEAL WITH THE SITUATION! LOLOL

Today, Hezbollah urged for suicide attacks to be carried out worldwide. Yeah, Let's all sit at the peace table and put an end to all this crap.

Wake-Up, Please,, Im trying to keep it civil( and it aint easy) . You don't deal with terrorists that are not willing to deal in good faith. Oslo was Arafat's last best chance, there will be one more, maybe, but it will only be a temporary patch.

They are proud of their children for fighting for their homeland. What do we do when we send the boys off to war? We know some of them will get killed, but we are proud and send them anyways.

Again -- the two examples are not really comparable -- Israel is not the Palestinian homeland -- they are not fighting a war, they are terrorists who want to destroy Israel in blind hatred

We have proudly sent our men and women into wars that had a higher purpose (at least to most people), freeing oppressed people, stopping a fanatical madman, evn halting the spread of communism was seen as a legitimate reason for sacrificing some of our youth -- maybe we can argue about the "worth" of Vietnam, and some of the recent Eastern European conflicts -- but that's a whole 'nother can of worms

Please, stop it with these hangin' curve balls.

I was all set to address your most recent points again, and then I remembered you just said that Islam is a religion of peace.

Might I suggest you visit the Democratic Underground website. There you will find a greater degree of concurrance with your opinions. Goodbye, and have a nice day.

While some Palestinians do want to push the Jews into the sea as they say, most do not.

From the outside looking in, it appears to me that most do.

it is a slippery slope, because we begin to value one sides justification over the other

Here's a clue, genius:

ONE SIDE'S JUSTIFICATION IS MORE VALID THAN THE OTHER!!!!

Sorry, but this fight has been going on since Jacob and Ishmael.

LOL, I think this one was Isaac and Ishmael. The other was Jacob and Essau.
