A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 12/4/02

Another busy day for President Bush today as he signed a few new bills and hosted the lighting of the White House Menorah. The President signed the 'Anton's Law' which requires shoulder belts in addition to lap straps in the middle rear seats of vehicles. Bush also signed the Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act, which creates a new kids-safe 'dot-kids' domain on the Internet that would contain only material appropriate for children under 13. After signing the bill, he took questions from the media, and once again stated that he is not optimistic regarding the inspections in Iraq. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura hosted Afghani teachers as they learn to become master teachers, who will eventually be responsible for training teachers back in their home country. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

What a godly man! Whether interacting with children or lighting a Menorah, President Bush radiates a positive energy (glow) that can only emanate from a good and loving heart!!!!

If you would like to read/hear more about the LA rally yesterday, the following website will enable you to ". . . relive President Bush's visit to Shreveport!" The pixes are great -- perhaps someone can tranfer some of them here?!!!

If W doesn't, you know that he sure as snot did his best to achieve this goal, and not for the selfish, self-centered reasons his predecessor would have (manipulating for some liberal peace award, etc.)

It's my understanding that W was pretty reluctant about running in 2000. He thought it was too soon. That he should finish his second term as governor of Texas and then go for it in 2004. Thank God they talked him out of it!

It is sad -- the Gore's excuse was they were having construction work/renovations done and the "workers" let the dog out -- but the gate guard said the dog was always getting loose and was in bad shape before it was "lost" -- and the Clintons had 2 dogs that were hit by cars -- I know accidents like that happen -- but I'd think that after one dog was killed -- you'd be extra careful ??

I'm so lucky to be alive and aware of politics during George W. Bush's Presidency. To really know what the right role of the president is, and how a person is supposed to conduct themselves while upholding the position. Every American should learn from the awesome example he is setting.

These people have absolutely no decency about them.

Ya know, everytime I look at that photo of President Bush, gesturing confidently in the direction of the camera, I am soooooo proud to call him MY President, and sooooooo relieved that Al Gore didn't manage to cheat his way into the Oval Office!

And this comes from, uh, yeh that's right: A DEMOCRAT!

I think one is named Tipper.

ROFLMAO!

I was at a luncheon today with one of my democrat friends. She was laughing about the democrats and what a joke they are. She went on to say that she thought Al Gore looked really, really bad. I wanted to say, "yeah, and have you seen Tipper?" I refrained though.

**Every American should learn from the awesome example he is setting.**

Every american hasn't learned, I just got off the phone with my grandfather. He was telling me that somebody better shut Bush off before he gets us into war. I was very calm and simply said, we have to get Sadam (sp?) before he gets us. He backed off when I said that!
Believe me it was VERY difficult to stay calm!!

My Wife was a lifelong democrats who grew up in the poorest of conditions and was convinced the democrats had the right message until George W. Bush came along. Belive it or not, She gats more angry at those who unfairly attack George W. Bush than I do these days. She constantly tells me that the democrats do not deserve a President like Dubya, They deserve a rotten bastard like Clinton :-)

How can anyone not support him. I remember watching Talk Back Live on CNN (I was in a public place) and Charles Barkley was on and made a comment that we were better off when Clinton was in office. Pulease. Maybe better off than if we had the devil himself as president. I think Barkley supports Clinton because they show similarities in their sex lives. Get a brain Charles!

I didn't even know Al gore had any pets.

This was a 16 year-old poodle (named Coconut)-- the Gores claimed it had been lost only a couple of days -- but the vet said it had a (gross-out) maggot-infested, festering wound that had to have been open for maybe a week or more -- ick !!
