Another busy day for President Bush today as he signed a few new bills and hosted the lighting of the White House Menorah. The President signed the 'Anton's Law' which requires shoulder belts in addition to lap straps in the middle rear seats of vehicles. Bush also signed the Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act, which creates a new kids-safe 'dot-kids' domain on the Internet that would contain only material appropriate for children under 13. After signing the bill, he took questions from the media, and once again stated that he is not optimistic regarding the inspections in Iraq. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura hosted Afghani teachers as they learn to become master teachers, who will eventually be responsible for training teachers back in their home country. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

YES, I know about the FOG....we've had some too....and one of our favorite places (I check the cam at Sun Mountain on the net) is all fogged in too - Winthrop. Although, it looked like they got a teensy bitsy spot of snow....so, there's hope.....it has to BREAK SOMETIME! We end up with "bad air" here and people can't use their woodstoves (even if it's sunny.) And, I'm one of those people who HAS to have RAIN on a REGULAR basis!

Don't fret. His day will come when he will answer for his actions and indiscretions. I'd love for that event to be pay-per-view!

I agree. I think the Esquire article said something about W being among the most respected Presidents. Darn right.

The poor schleps
want to see only the negative, Miss Marple. They are sorry excuses for human beings, IMO.
Anyone who cannot see the goodness in this man must be lacking basic perception, or perhaps lacking goodness himself.
btw, we have had snow on the ground for several weeks. I don't think we're going to get much with this storm, but it's going down to 10 degrees tonight! It's already down to 19 now! That's COLD for early December!

Awww -- it's not Buddy (RIP) and Sock's fault that they had the misfortune to "belong" to such odious people -- you can tell a lot by how people treat their pets -- Clinton only used Buddy for Photo Ops. and Algore's poodle was found wandering; filthy, half-starved and covered with sores -- but they said he was only missing a few days

"Also heard that the poll shows an overwhelming support for the vision that W has for America or something to that effect."

Well, my hand and arm are hurting so much that I am going to bed. I went to choir and I guess holding the music with my sprained hand-wrist really did not help any. Wrong time of the year to have hand trouble. Have to keep this brace on the rest of the year. What fun!!!!!! Night all!

Most people who have no self worth concern themselves for tearing down those people who are better than them. I feel bad for them, since learning self-worth is a hard-earned trait, and most of the people in this category are lacking self-esteem.

Maybe those naysayers should hear what a Canadian paper said about him yesterday.
It was in the Calgary Sun and written by Paul Jackson. Here are some examples:
"One assumes it takes some moxey to graduate from both of America's top universities, and some courage to fly a jet fighter."
"Bush believes in giving America a wide variety of tax breaks."
"There hasn't been a whiff of scandal in the Bush government?"
"The Bush operation is squeaky-clean."
"Yet don't you think a lot of us may be living on the wrong side of the border?"

The most amazing part of this President is that the leaders of the Republican Party had to fly to Texas and plead with him to run for the Presidency. In other words he answered the call to serve.
I truly believe we are witnessing one of the best Presidents ever to serve this country. As much as I love Ronald Reagan for all he did for this country, I believe George W. Bush is going to surpass him. I might be wrong, But I have a gut feeling George W. Bush will deliver world peace before he leaves office.

Or she's trying to suppress the urge to hug him!
