The company last night said profits would be about 20 percent lower than it announced four weeks earlier, blaming a box office flop of its new holiday flick, "Treasure Planet."

Maybe Disney ought to build Flopola Land for all of its movie misses.

Leading the revolt was director Stanley Gold, head of Shamrock Holdings.

Ut oh, big trouble for Eisner. Shamrock is the highly profitable entity of Roy Disney - Walt's brother - who orchestrated the coup that ditched Walt's son-in-law and ensconced Eisner at Disney.

Named to the post was former U.S. senator George Mitchell, who already held a seat on the board.

Well, now the company is really going to go down the tubes. Funny how all these democrats show up on corporate boards (like Mondale) and at the same time rile about corporate irresponsibility. They are such hypocrites!

Good old pro Homosexual Pride in Disney Eisner.

Are the mentally diseased left wing elite rats like Eisner incapable of running a corporation without plundering it and destroying it:

The company last night said profits would be about 20 percent lower than it announced four weeks earlier, blaming a box office flop of its new holiday flick, "Treasure Planet."

The company also revealed that the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating the cozy relationship among four directors who put their relatives in key jobs within the Disney empire, some paying up to $1.3 million a year.

Ironically, Eisner himself divulged the corporate nepotism months ago to the SEC - primarily to neutralize the four outside directors who had been heading a board revolt to oust him.

Merry Christmas to all the rat elites who have been busy plundering and destroying Disney under the POS left winger Eisner. He ain't no Mickey Mouse! He is a real DemonicRat!

Sounds like the real "Treasure Planet" exists within the boardroom.

Warms my heart to see the Mouse implode.

It is my understanding that Shamrock is the nephew's company, who is also named Roy. Walt's brother has been dead for some time.

This implies that Disney's annual profits and long-term survival are dependent upon just one or two products a year. What sort of stupid business model are they using?

Watching TeeVee with the kids, I've noticed boucoups marketing for this movie, but I can't fer the life of me figger out how Disney couldda ever thought this movie wouldda been anything other than a flop...the Mudrats (7 & 4) have both commented that it looks "STOOOOPID" although me and the Missuz are trying to get them to eliminate that word from their vocabulary.

I've got nothing against Disney as a whole, but I'll be glad when Eisner is inevitably eliminated from Power...he's apparently dumb as a rock or just hires folks who are!!

Looks like some trial lawyer needs to bring a RICO suit against the Mouse. If there's any such thing as a Republican trial lawyer still left.

Doesn't Disney also have a hand in the porn industry too?

Can't they just crank those profits up? (*Evil laugh at Eisner's expense*)

Disney is still losing on the market. It is not as bad as a few minutes ago, but they are going down again today: (Link to Disney on Quicken.com)
